Everything my sons and I buy food here and we are never disappointed. Always very delicious and the service always friendly.
The food is okay nothing spectacular. Some of it is genuine but it’s not especially outstanding. The services not the best and not everything is prepared fresh they are also rather slow and always lack dishes.
The egusi soup was delicious!!! Will definitely order again!
Me and my husband went on a whim on Saturday for the first time to try a Nigerian restaurant (we’ve tried different dishes in markets before but no a proper sit down meal), and we were not disappointed! The food was amazing, we shared Jollof rice, with beef and chicken and goat soup with fufu. The soup was quite spicy and delicious, The rice was amazing and so were the beef and chicken (not oily at all, very fresh). We were served by Victoria who was welcoming and so patient since we’ve never been to a Nigerian restaurant before. She treated us to these amazing round crispy donut things. Will 100% com back for more. I’m so happy we actually went there and not ordered, we would not have known what to order and how to eat it, Victoria suggested to us what we should get.

Not professional at all. How can they not update whether or not they are open or closed? I booked a ride because I saw the restaurant was going to be open till 22:10. Got there 19:06 and absolutely no one was there! Called and no one responded. Never think I will ever try there again! Gave 1 star because I just have to rate.
Prompt response, preferably order then come pick up or use delivery services. Food was okay, first attempt on Amala was average, I will visit more to get better rating.
Went there yesterday with my wife and kids. I found the meal to be tasty and to be nicely made and came at a resonable and fair price, also it was quite refreshing and commendable to have also a good reception and warm welcoming by the host.
I was really disappointed by the communication. I got the details for the restaurant from a colleague. Called restaurant to find out what was available and informed the lady I spoke to I'll be coming down. Got dressed and made our way down . On arrival 30 mins after phone call , all lights were switched off and door locked even though the sign on the door still said open . This was about 21:30pm and closing time is supposed to be 23:00pm . We waited for a few minutes and called number multiple times with no pick up. We had to leave as it is a cold night . Total 30 minutes drive wasted going to and fro .
Our first experience of West African cuisine and it did not disappoint. The Joloff rice and dodo gizzard in particular were absolutely delicious. Also the puff puffs were lovely! Very reasonable price for the quantity of food, and ready for collection in about 45 minutes from ordering! E dupe!
