   We have been getting our Chinese from Happy House every week for about 15 years and I must say we have eventually stopped. About a year ago we noticed that things had changed, I don't know whether there was a change in ownership as people have changed but the food is not as good as it was - the salt and pepper ribs are now dry and tasteless, the sweet and sour sauce is watery and the special fried rice is greasy. It upsets me to write this review but I do believe that unless you say something nothing will change and we have been unable to find a Chinese like Happy House anywhere else and really want to come back and £40 a week is a lot to loose to some businesses.

   My 15 year old son had Prawn toast and Salt and pepper chicken from here last night. He had not had anything to eat all day due to training. He was extremely sick over night and felt horrible today. Took until 3:20am then he was sick until 5am. Don’t bother. Don’t pay for poisoning

   Food was pretty good over all customer service started out well however............. my partner ordered beef with chilli and spring onions. On opening the order it was clear there was no beef to be seen. Just a tub with onions and sauce (a vegetarians dream). On contacting the take away they insisted she didn't order beef. The answer being 'we didn't charge you for that'. That doesn't resolve the issue. Customer service went from 5* to 1* over 1 phone call. Sorry happy house, you didn't make my partner so happy on this occasion.
