We were at The restaurant last evening for dinner and was an outstanding experience. Made better by the hostess/ server- Andrea. She was extremely pleasant and accommodating to our taste and needs. We were 6 and all of us had seafood. None was disappointed. The house white wine paired well with the food. I excellent service and great ambience.

Absolutely outstanding! From the moment we walked in, we were greeted with warm hospitality and a cozy ambiance. The food was beyond amazing—every dish was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. The service was impeccable, with the staff going above and beyond to make our dining experience perfect. Whether you’re looking for a romantic dinner, a family outing, or a special celebration, this place is a must-visit. Can’t wait to come back!

An absolutely fantastic dining experience! The bruschette were fresh, flavorful, and perfectly crispy—a great way to start the meal. The burger was simply perfect, with a juicy patty, soft bun, and just the right balance of toppings. The salmon with risotto was a masterpiece—the fish cooked to perfection, paired with a creamy, rich risotto. And let’s not forget the best fries ever! Crispy, golden, and perfectly seasoned, made even better with the smooth, garlicky aioli sauce. Every bite was a delight. Highly recommend this place for anyone who loves top-quality food and bold flavors!

**Restaurant Review: Mediterranean Sharrow Vale** I recently had the pleasure of dining at the Mediterranean Sharrow Vale ( under the new management ) and it’s safe to say that it has already secured a special place in my heart—and my taste buds. The ambiance of the restaurant is both inviting and elegant, with a touch of coastal charm that sets the perfect backdrop for a memorable meal. The staff are exceptionally welcoming and attentive, making you feel like a valued guest from the moment you walk in. But let’s get to the star of the show—the food. I started with the shrimps with garlic sauce, which proved to be another culinary triumph. The shrimps were succulent and fresh, perfectly cooked to retain their natural sweetness. The garlic sauce was a masterpiece in itself, bursting with flavor without overpowering the delicate taste of the seafood. It had just the right amount of garlic, balanced with a hint of lemon and fresh herbs, creating a dish that was both vibrant and satisfying. Next, I indulged in the wild mushrooms tagliatelle, and it was nothing short of spectacular. The pasta was cooked to perfection, with a delightful al dente texture. The wild mushrooms added an earthy richness that was beautifully complemented by a light, creamy sauce. Each bite was a harmonious blend of flavors, showcasing the chef’s expertise and creativity. For dessert, I couldn’t resist the fresh cake with yogurt cream and sweet, fresh cherries. This dessert was the perfect ending to a delightful meal. The cake was light and moist, with a subtle sweetness that paired wonderfully with the tangy yogurt cream. The fresh cherries added a burst of natural sweetness and a hint of tartness, making each bite a delightful contrast of flavors and textures. It was a refreshing and satisfying conclusion that left a lasting impression. In addition to the standout dishes, the menu offers a wide range of other Mediterranean delights that I am eager to try on future visits. The wine list is also impressive, featuring a thoughtful selection of wines that pair beautifully with the seafood-centric cuisine. Overall, Mediterranean Sharrow Vale has quickly become a go-to spot for seafood lovers and pasta aficionados alike. With its exquisite dishes, warm ambiance, and top-notch service, it promises a dining experience that is both delightful and unforgettable. If you haven’t visited yet, make it a priority—you won’t be disappointed.

I recently dined at Mediterranean Sharrow Vale and it was a fantastic experience. The highlight of our meal was undoubtedly the 160-ounce Tomahawk steak- the best steak we’ve had in forever. This colossal cut of meat was a sight to behold and a joy to savor. Cooked to perfection, it was incredibly juicy and bursting with flavor. The steak’s rich, smoky taste paired wonderfully with the subtle Mediterranean herbs and spices, making it a truly memorable dish. Whether you’re a steak aficionado or simply looking for an indulgent treat, this Tomahawk is a must-try. Highly recommended!

Good service as it was empty on a Friday night (should have been a big red flag), food was awful! Completely tasteless seafood platter then Duck breast costing £26 which was tiny, tasteless and vastly overcooked

Dear google, where to start. I have many fond memories of this place. Used to have a proper Mediterranean vibe. We ordered 12 x tapas so had a fairly comprehensive overview and guys what I (as a random person on google) would suggest is a complete overhaul of the menu. Also offer water and finger bowl. I’d love to be more constructive but there just isn’t time here to go over every dish. But certainly discontinue the fish stew for now as I can still taste it. Basic points: Meatballs dry (easy fix). Chorizo: paper thin (easy fix). Patatas bravas watery but alright. Mussels not fresh. Med bread hard, more topping. Veg burned. Baby aubergine was alright. Also maybe get off your phone and properly read a Mediterranean cook book. Or even check YouTube. Would definitely love to come back though when everything is completely revised. You can do it. All the very best guys

today I was here for the first time in the restaurant, I was very happy when I saw that there is fish soup on the menu. To be honest, I was not completely satisfied.. The first error here on the Google page says the soup is £6.50.. Later I saw the soup is £8.50.. The Google page probably has the old menu with the old prices. But ok £2 difference is not a big deal .. Well unfortunately I got half a plate of soup with something cheesy in it ... but the soup was literally an empty fishy flavored juice .. There was nothing in it, not even a small piece of fish or a few grains of crab. Soup is usually served with a couple of small slices of toast, it wasn't either.. So the £8.50 .. was not fair in my opinion .. I ordered a glass of wine which is about £4.85 a glass ... Well, a glass is actually 3/4 Of glass .. The restaurant itself is cozy, a bit romantic inside, but because of the price and portion, I decided not to order anything else .. I know the price of everything is very expensive these days, but a nearly £10 soup should give me some extra taste, why I go to a restaurant and not I cook it at home. After that I went to a Kurdish restaurant ... I ate some lentil soup it was very tasty .. £2 .. I had a drink £1 then I ate a lamb kebab + lamb shawarma wrap again it was very tasty with homemade sauces and I paid £9 all together .. Dont get me wrong this more professional restaurant so I understood is more expensive.. but I feel they to pull up the quality and portion to match they prices ..

This Mediterranean restaurant is located near Ecclesall Road which is around a 10-15 minute drive from the city centre. I made a dinner reservation for this restaurant for the Saturday (15th) after Valentine’s Day and surprisingly the restaurant wasn’t busy. The staff were very welcoming and kind, the man who seemed like the manager was very friendly and came to all the tables. The interior and overall look of the restaurant is quite old and outdated, this includes the appearance of the menus. Despite the old look, the food was good and fairly reasonably priced. I wouldn’t recommend the Crème Brûlée, it arrived cold. Overall, would I recommend this restaurant? If you need a place for a dinner date and are running out of options then sure. The food isn’t bad and the service is great.
