    I’ve been going to the GG since it was on Turves Road back in the 80’s, and I’m wondering whether this place has changed hands over the last month or so because the food, which used to be top tier, has gone downhill. The last couple of times I’ve been, it’s been completely different and generally poor. The staff that always used to be there, I haven’t seen in a couple of months. I hope it’s just a blip, because it was a genuinely great takeaway. Salt and Pepper chicken is still top notch, though.

    Been going here regulaly for years and years, but will not be returning. Food has always been average, but convenient. They are cash only when spening under a certain amount - as many of buiness who fiddlee their taxes are - I was 60p short on an order, so suggested they take the curry sauce and sweet aand sour saource off one of the set meals I had ordered. They were unwilling to do this. Such poor customer service.

    Elite chinese! Just switched to here after 20 years at another local one (Happy House). The food is great although It’s getting little bit expensive with large chips going over £4 but it’s the best in the area. The people that work there are very professional and friendly.

    Disappointing ..not the best. Bought Singapore Vermicelli...not done fresh just warmed up in a wok, came out very quick. Part was cool and part very hot, could not find any prawns in the dish. Husband's said his dish was just ok. First time visit but won't be going back.

    My favourite chippy and it never lets me down as the chips are amazing and arent too salty and the cashier is very friendly and talkative and it is a great chippy and i highly recommend
