Sweet and sour prawns to die for. This is truly the best Chinese in Stockport. The lady is always super lovely too, and it’s not too expensive!
I have to say this is the nicest Chinese iv had in a long time. We usually go to tangs in Cheadle hulme but fancied a change tonight and so glad we did. We ordered 6 dishes and drinks and came under £25!! Highly recommend.
I’ve found myself returning every week to get the special chow mein which is always super flavourful! In my experience the staff have been really friendly and polite. Unlike some other Chinese takeaways I’ve been to, Rainbow House add plenty of tasty meat, fresh veg and it’s great value for money. I’ll be back soon!

Ordered Salt Pepper chicken pieces this was rock hard no chicken in it. Special fried rice was horrible with hardly any meat, it tasted bland. Chips was just warm. Only ordered here because it had top ratings in Stockport...never again the lot binned what a waste of money. Plus it took over an hour!!!

We've just had the most lovely take out we could've asked for, thank you! It takes a very good meal for me to rate but this is 100% deserved. Excellent ordering and payment service, was ready in time, service with a smile. I could feel how clean the place was when I went to collect which is a biggy for me, they also deliver for a small fee, the portions were excellent, all piping hot. Would really recommend and we will be ordering again.
We ordered last night 23rd Jun for the first time, the meal arrived early with free prawn crackers and was really nice. The following night after tell a friend how nice it was we ordered the same meals, what a change, very little duck in the duck dish no prawn crackers meal was all over the carrier bag really disapointing.
