   Can't fault this lovely restaurant. We had 9 small plates between 4 adults all of which were really tasty. We had a lovely bottle of white wine and some cocktails. We sat downstairs and the atmosphere was really good. The service was great, really friendly, chatty staff that did a great job.

   What an amazing place!! The quality of the food was outstanding, the nicest meal we’ve had in ages. The service matched the meal, the waitresses were attentive, knowledgeable and very polite. There is acoustic wood panelling on the walls which absorbs the noise very well so you can actually hear all your parties’ conversation - a very welcomed change to the norm. The choice of food covers a variety of tastes, something for everyone. With a choice of 6 starters and 7 mains, it is beautifully presented and not overbearing. The chef/owners should be very proud. Honestly, this is a rare find and you’ll not be disappointed.

   Absolutely fantastic Sunday lunch!! Everyone had different meats and all were so tasty. Great food, wonderful service with a smile. 100% will be returning with other family members / friends asap. It’s a must try for Sunday dinner :)

   Great meal in a great location. Good to see quality food on Banner Cross again. Starters, mains, cocktails and wine for 2 came to £90. Good quality food and reasonable price. Cocktails at £9 and very reasonable wine choices. Menu is small and if you sit upstairs you can see the open kitchen. Small and intimate.

   Superb food, really top notch. Possibly best cooked lamb I’ve had anywhere. Very nicely done out inside with a relaxed atmosphere and friendly / attentive staff. Would definitely visit again and recommend to others.

   Lunch at Holt was amazing. The lamb ragout and chicken sandwich were so tasty. The cocktail menu looks enticing. This is a stylish place. Very nice decor with a cosy feel. The staff were lovely. You need to try it!
