   Should have read the reviews beforehand. We ordered the emperor banquet for two plus stir fried mushrooms in garlic and oyster sauce as an extra side. The spring rolls and chicken wings were refried and not fresh. The extra side was the same as the chicken main with the only difference being the chicken. The beef main was too peppery. The atmosphere requires refreshing and updating.

   update: have tried their noodles a few times now (Build Your Own Noodles) and i’m always impressed! always super tasty abd very filling. would recommend their Cantonese sauce for the noodles! actually so pleasantly surprised by the food, given the review ratings here. the egg fried rice was good, more on the very soy type of fried rice than the less soy, lighter egg fried rice. the lamb ribs were nice too, slightly tart sauce, meaty fatty ribs. i think the food portion here is really good!

   My main disappointment is that this restaurant advertises itself as authentic and has authentic Chinese dish names on the menu. However, neither of the two (very common Chinese) dishes I ordered were authentic. The 水煮魚(casserole Szechuan style) was nothing like what it’s meant to taste or look like. The fish was also tough and dry. The 麻婆豆腐(mapo tofu) tasted wrong and was missing the minced meat that I ordered and traditionally comes with. I reported this to Uber Eat and was given a 40p refund… I think it’s best to stick with advertising yourself as a halal Chinese takeaway, but don’t advertise using authentic Chinese dish names as that’s rather misleading.

   KEEP AWAY AT ALL COST DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY. The food & customer service was absolutely shocking!!! My friend called to ask the ingredients the guy on the phone had no idea of the , claimed that he didn't know what we were asking. Spent 5 minutes with us waiting so he could ask the chef & still said he had no idea what we are asking?! How can you not know the ingredients in the products your selling! What do they do if someone has an allergy? Than our order came we ordered a platter, we only got one portion, the guy argued with me saying I only ordered one portion, when I clearly ordered platter which said two pieces each, yet we received only 1 piece each, and it was horrible tasted so rubbery & flavourless we threw it in the bin. The Chowmein was an absolute joke, we ordered the SPICY version it was the blandest, most tasteless dish ever, there was no flavour no veggies, apart from one small piece of green spring onion! Just literally boiled noodles & boiled chicken! I would not even give this food for free!!! The most rudest customer service & abysmal prices & disgusting food. Seriously keep away from this place!!!

   Awful food, uncooked fat on ribs ( which are lamb not pork) no flavour of salt and pepper and smelt like fish. Pieces of gristle and off cuts of dodgy looking meat in the rice. I called to complain and they just said they make 60 portions of rice a day and weren't very interested at all in my complaint, they told me to contact Deliveroo. I would never order from here again, worst Chinese takeaway I've ever received, it all ended up in the bin.

   Great place for Halal Chinese food. Ordered a takeaway. Szechuan Hot and Sour Soup was delicious. Service was good. Food was a bit pricey but the portions were good size. The garlic chilli chicken seemed a bit bland but the taste was good. Waiting time wasn't bad as it wasn't too busy. Will recommend to try it out and don't forget to try the hot sour soup.
