Order nearly an hour late and was cold when it arrived. Every dish too salty £50 down the drain will not be going back. If I could give zero stars I would!
Quite disappointed with salt 'n' pepper chicken and salt 'n' pepper chips. Admittedly, it is generally a salty dish, but this was ridiculous. Over salted, chilli spice was ok, but just far too must salt. Also both over seasoned with Chinese five spice. The pork sui mai was good, vegetable spring rolls acceptable, cheap soy sauce, but good prawn crackers. Had to admit defeat and give up under half way through.
Really not a good takeaway at all. Would never order from here again. The curry sauce tasted very weird. Everyone needed the toilet straight after eating!
We've order takeaway as a treat tonight and all is 'okay' apart from the chicken curry. It's vile and not edible. It bright orange slime with lots of greasy water and raw mushrooms. The staff were polite when we called back. However very disappointed with the food and unfortunately will not be using here again.
Tried somewhere different using 10% Uber Eats promo. Prawn toast looked and tasted frozen and was greasier than I've had elsewhere. Spare ribs were tasty. You don't get many but they're big and meaty, albeit drowning in the sauce. Prawn crackers, not as greasy as the toast and a good snap and crunch. Crispy noodles came in the same container as the chow mein but still kept some resistance. Ok but I wouldn't rush back.
I've eaten a lot of Chinese takeaway in my 25 years, across several continents, some good, some terrible, some of questionable meat source. However, I can whole heartedly say that I have NEVER enjoyed a plate of food MORE than I did after ordering from here. Crispy beef with chilli sauce - not too spicy, salty or sweet, solid serving 10/10 Special fried rice - balanced, meaty and with full size perfectly cooked prawns 10/10 Salt and pepper chips - sensational 10/10 Chicken and sweetcorn soup - to die for 10/10 Delivery time - beat the just eat time by 15 minutes 10/10. Not only do I recommend this take away, I don't think I'll ever eat anywhere else. Thank you China delight!
Tasty food delivered hot but it was delivered 1 hour and 40 minutes after it was ordered and it was only 2 meals and I live 10mins away. I would not recommend if you are hungry. I guess they prioritise walk in customers over those who order via an app and pay in advance.
