   The meals were actually cooked well but lacked flavour. Sweet and sour soup was nice but lacked the sour flavour so it was spoilt. The sweet and sour king prawn sauce again lacked a strong flavour so came across as bland unfortunately. The salt and pepper chicken again lacked the strong salt and pepper taste. I hope this is rectified and then I would go back.

   I went last night. It was a regular visit. My salt and pepper ribs were dry. The ribs were not cut in a presentable way. Not fresh ! My special chow mein was very average. The pieces of sliced beef were also dry. From ordering to receiving my meal suggested that the ingredients were not cooked to order. I am a chef and I know what fresh food tastes like.

   Great wall (on Moss Lane) is a nice, standard, Chinese style takeaway that caters for the UK. This is where most people get the interpretation wrong - they serve dishes that are for the UK so don't expect the most worldly of Chinese cuisine. It is a great, family run UK Chinese takeaway that does all the regular options and more if you call and order. The food portions are quite large and appetizers, in particular, are always fresh, hold their taste well and match any restaurant in central Manchester. The family team are also really nice when it comes to solving order issues or if you have any other concerns. Don't believe all the fussy reviews and negative sentiments. Great wall is an above decent option in a limited pool of choice for the local area.

   Food was ok / average. Chicken curry tasted nice and good level of spice, sweet and sour chicken was decent in a light sauce. Bbq spare ribs were ok, and a decent size portion.

   I'm afraid that I don't like oven chips from a chip shop. The fried rice was OK, the curry was OK, the 10 x vegetarian spring rolls were the only highlight.

   This restaurant is wonderful and broad, the food was delicious and the rates were very reasonable. Located right outside commercial park and next to warehouse facility. This is definitely quick, efficient service and very friendly staff members. I recommend this place.
