   Looking forward to a nice takeaway watching the England match. Large spring rolls as a starter, rolls had been cooked in spent (burnt) oil, poor. Main course, special fried rice, chips and curry sauce. SFR, very dry and meat prawns etc definitely not fresh ingredients. In short a reheated, recycled plate of food. Very poor experience and it was collected, not delivered so not stood about.

   Been here twice now. First time I got food poisoning. Today I had soup and prawn toast, the soup was okay. The prawn toast was disgusting, it was some sort of dark fried meat with a creamy filling, not one prawn in it.

   Only ever eaten from here once before and she didn’t know what to charge me then second time I went she tried to charge me £2 extra for the exact same me 2 weeks later and said last time it was free for curry but now she has to charge me lol unbelievable!!!

   As a vegetarian I sometimes struggle with the choice of food but this place is amazing, I've had takeaway from this chippy for well over 10 years!!. I would highly recommend the salt and pepper tofu, the vegetarian vermicelli Singapore style, mushroom foo young, mix vegetable chow mein, I could go on. The curry sauce is the best I've tasted, the fried rice is lovely and they even deliver, what else could you want?

   The friendly owner's are very nice. The food for the 6 or 7 times I've been in the last 6 months is always very good, freshly prepared and piping hot.

   Lovely food from a great family run business. Welcome House has been around 30 or so years with the same friendly family running it. I have very fond memories of living round the area & picking chinese up here when I was a little kid with my family and getting videos from The Picture Palace video shop (sadly no longer a thing) on Saturday nights. I've been back a few times over the years & the food is still as good as I remember. Great place to eat from & well worth the drive if you're not a local. 10/10
