Fantastic find. Freshly cut potatoes and battered cod. Super quality and flavour. The owner was helpful in relation to allergies and friendly in his nature. They made a big effort to make the space feel festive with a fine 6ft+ real Christmas tree!
We travel from Hyde in Manchester to this chippy, the food is excellent and the owner is very knowledgeable. Fantastic all-rounder, we are always very happy with everything.
Very friendly service. The fish and chips were all cooked freshly. Excellent crisp non greasy batter. I am not local but if I ever return to the area would definitely go to this chippy. Highly recommended.
Best I've eaten. Everything freshly made to order, potatoes cut up right in front of you. The onion rings are unreal. GF loves the fish. The veggie options are great and George will batter anything you bring in. I'm a regular now.

By far the best fish , chips and mushy peas me and my wife have had in a long time. Tried many fish and chip places across South Yorkshire and this is defienelty at the top. Chips are thick and fluffy . The fish was tastey , chunky , falls apart nicely and with the perfectly crunchy batter that isn’t swimming in oil like most places. The owner is very friendly and had a good chat with all the customers including myself. Happy customers. We will be returning.
Absolutely banging chips. HAND CUT right infront of us, and cooked in freshly changed oil. Amazing stuff, the owner Giorgios was lovely, we ordered 5 orders of chips right at closing time and he obliged without any issue.
Fantastic quality fish and chips. The owner takes pride in his cooking/frying. Everything is fresh and cooked to order, you can tell it's fresh oil in the pan every time. The service was also very friendly. I'll definitely be back.
