We moved to Thornhill recently and are very pleased that The Spiced Mango is going to be our go-to Indian restaurant. I can honestly say that the meal I had last night was the best tasting Indian I’ve ever had. Service was attentive and friendly. We will definitely be back again.
Had a delivery tonight, very disappointing, watery, tasteless and as such very poor value. I think they take deliveries and takeaway’s for granted, but they should remember that these are just as important as dine-in customers, in fact the profit margins are better I would imagine. Anyway, we will give this place a miss for a good while, The Cinnamon Lounge is further away but personally I think the food is superior.
Best indian restaurant ive visted in not just wakefield but yorkshire. Always spot on and ive tried a few dishes but the lamb balti or the signature afghani lamb are top tier. Whether im dining in or collecting the staff and owners are always really friendly and helpful
Lovely food, generously portioned meat in the main. Beautiful starter, enough chips to feed an army, would definitely recommend and will definitely be ordering again. Very attentive staff and helpful. Thank you
The food was excellent we all enjoyed very much. Only down side was staff didn't look like they wanted to be there didn't cm that friendly shame coss food was really good. Maybe there having a off day .
Lovely old pub made into Indian restaurant.Thay have done a good job doing it up.The service was good,food was very good,enjoyed our wine.Had a good night out.Will be returning.Would recommend you book we did and I don't think we would of got a table if not,was a Friday night though
If you want to enjoy this food I suggest you order a takeaway. Or don't go at the weekend. Possibly JustEat takes priority over customers who have booked tables? Saw many deliveries in thermal bags leaving the kitchen rather than full plates for hungry punters. Waited far too long for our food and were just about to walk out when the starters arrived. An hour and a half hours from arrival to eating. Food was good. But then again we were so hungry we would have eaten the tablecloth!
Top place, a traditional curry house but with 1st class cuisine. Parking is limited, great local pub across the road. Staff very attentive, will be back.
