   Just moved to the aria and tried the food from here for tea tonight. Was un sure what to get, The lady behind the counter was very patient and helpful. I went with the Beef In Bean, with a portion of salt and pepper chips. Was very fresh and the beef was so soft and cooked perfect. Tasted amazing. I can now say I’ve found my new local take out. :) Would recommend to anyone. reasonably priced too :)

   We regularly ordered from this takeaway and I have to be honest, the food is always delicious but I honestly do think that some of the prices are way too high. When comparing to other 4+ ratings takeaways within a 3 mile radius, 6 or 7 of the dishes are 40% more expensive.

   Where to start, I've been a customer of little lantern for over 12 years and I can well and truly say it's hit rock bottom, the quality of the food has plummeted and also the way it's cooked. The salt and pepper chips were raw, proper raw though not just undercooked. Pathetic how you can even get that wrong? Simple chips.....The shredded beef in sweet chilli sauce is simply awful (never ever used to be) the beef is as thin as hair and sauce is non existent. I don't know what has happened, has the chef been changed or do they just not give a toss anymore?? For all these reasons, me nor my family will be eating elsewhere from now on, there are far better options than Little Lantern thesedays. The only thing that has been consistent over the years is Tam the delivery driver, always polite, get a new job mate before these lot ruin you. STAY WELL CLEAR OF THE PLACE. SAVE YOUR MONEY.

   First time ordering here spent £40 and i am appalled!! The prawn toast was shameful the chicken was black and rock hard! The hot and sour soup was like toilet water and the chips was greasy when phoning to ask them to collect and get a refund they was nothing but rude and I got no outcome and the food ended up in the bin

   Food turned up 2hrs late after being told it would take 35mins, half the order was missing so called up and was told they can deliver but waiting for a delivery driver when I said I’d prefer a refund I was met with a very rude response saying she’d give me store credit, I explained I paid cash so I want a cash refund… still waiting on my refund.. ribosome had no meat at all just batter, shredded chicken was that hard I nearly broke a tooth! And food arrived warm not hot. I spent over £50 on this treat of once a month. We’re in a cost of living crisis and got people like is taking the p@ss with orders they should be ashamed of themselves. Never again will I use my hard earned cash here.

   Main issue I have is quality of food compared to the past and current prices. Very expensive compared to competitors such as tongue fold Chinese chef and chips r us. Please not we order as a club and mainly eat chips curry rice etc … main meals are very very good … so would defo advise if ordering this type of food. However mini easy to eat stuff is not close to standard of competition.

   ABSOLUTLY DISGUSTING!!!!! Been using this place for over 6years. over the past few month the meals have been hit and miss but just took this as busy periods and we do live right on the edge of the area they cover. But tonight we have paid £28 for a meal which when we sat down to eat we left more than 3/4 of the plate as there was just no taste. And tasted like pure salt and the chicken was dry and also the chips were still hard in the center. We contacted the shop to say we could not eat the food as it was genuinely not edible for the manger on the phone to just say I am sorry and I will pass your message onto the chef and was leaving it as that and did not offer a refund considering there was more than 3/4 of the hole order left or Evan to re make the food for us. She continued to be very unhelpful and say we do not give refunds as the food now will not be able to be re heated to be sold on as it is a popular dish at this point was Evan more shocked and makes me wonder weather the past meals we have had from them over the months that have also not been very good has the been re heated food. At the end of the day any restaurant take away and business that is to sell any type of product that is not satisfactory should offer for the item to be re made or a refund to be issued not to be told there is nothing that can be done. Will never be using this place again and will never recommend absoluty discussing customer service. And if I could offer less that 1 star I would but google will not allow me to.
