   Very clean take away with lovely staff. The food was ok, albeit I wouldn't go again as it just lacked taste, and a certain something which I can't put my finger on. I had chicken chow mein which was bland and beige looking. It wasnt awful, just bland. My partner had salt and pepper chips, and they were ok, just not for us.

   Lovely sauce, the meat is awful, would probably order a veggie dish again but crikey for the price get a better butcher, steak, chicken and pork inedible x

   I had a starter box and special fried rice while my wife had shredded beef and noodles, we also shared a bag of prawn crackers. Cost us £35. I really enjoyed the food, tasted great and was really fresh and piping hot. The guy that serves us was polite, patient and helpful. I'm not local to the area but I would definitely use again if I was. Of all the places I have eaten Chinese (roughly 10) I'd say this was my favourite. Would recommend.

   Oh no, we’ve been loyal Canton customers for 5 years and never had a bad meal in that time. Canton has seemingly now changed ownership and the last two meals we’ve had were just awful by comparison. Look out for the gloopy sauces, crazy food colouring (curry sauce has gone bright orange, sweet and sour is now neon pink) and a complete lack of flavour. The egg fried rice and noodles were ok. At best, the two meals we’ve had were bang average, and the service was fine, but not as organised as previously. Unfortunately, it was just not worth the money on either occasion and it pains me to write this about our favourite takeaway. Canton, we need good Chinese food - please don’t do this to the people of Knutsford….

   Sweet and sour chicken was inedible. Very 'gluppy'. Peking ribs fatty under alot of sauce 4 ribs in total for a portion. Wont be returning. Waste of money

   Such a sad thing when the sun sets on a good business. After being a customer for many years I can safely say I will never order from Canton again. Initially I was disappointed when after collecting, they produced unseasoned, overcooked food on the first occasion, but the response when we told them was completely unacceptable, compounded by the fact that when we returned to give them the partially inedible food back we were greeted by being told that by returning it WE were wasting food.... Please at least cook it to a standard where it doesn't hurt your mouth to chew before blaming it on the person that paid for it.... Our meal was, however, to be fair grudgingly replaced, unfortunately that was with now seasoned but again ridiculously overcooked food that we fed the bin rather than the family pets with. As a family we used to really enjoy ordering from their kitchen... For those of you that live in the local area and have enjoyed their menu in the past I really suggest that you look elsewhere as I really didn't get the impression that tonight was just a bad night

   While in the area for work I fancied a bit of Chinese and unlike most take away's Canton did a range of interesting Dim sum. I ordered one of each plus a 1/4 of the duck and it was far too much for me to eat but was extremely tasty!
