Guys! I've ordered a takeaway at 7.30pm for the family, theres 4 of us ... 9.30pm and it still hadn't arrived, after 4 calls I finally lost my temper and asked them what was happening.. theg then told me that they had delivered it to the wrong address and they would give us some prawn crackers for free as a sorry?!?!?!! 2 hours later and I'm writing this out as you read this still without our food! Absolutely shocking service!
Very poor tonight told wait would be half hour it arrived 1 hour 10 mins later, chow mein was put in the bin no beansprouts just very fine noodles and slimey chicken. Chicken fried rice was edible but poor salt and pepper chips were very dry as if old chips were used and soggy prawn crackers. Very disappointed
*** AVOID *** We have been using this Chinese for 15 years This was the first time we have ordered from here since it was taken over. It’s gone from the best in the area to the worst. We ordered for 6 people and the total came to £48.10. Upon receiving our food we opened the salt and pepper chicken to find 7 very small pieces of chicken with a load of the salt and pepper mixture. We opened the salt and pepper squid and again found 6 very small pieces with loads of the mixture. The two portions of chips were the smallest chips I’ve ever seen and full of scraps. If this was the end of the night I still wouldn’t accept this but I could understand the issues raised above. I called to complain and the woman was rude and didn’t care. She said to me that “it’s very expensive to cook Chinese food so you don’t get a lot”. I asked to come back in and collect fresh to which she refused saying they won’t be cooking a fresh batch and she hung up on me. The rest of the meals were nice, except the beef which tasted off And not fresh at all. Please don’t order from this takeaway there is much better in the area.
one star hygiene rating takeaway, Dark brown oil leak out from the spring rolls, chicken meat is pre- cooked , beef fried noodles -- beef meat is terrible just like rotten. Fried rice should be steamed rice not really fried rice. £4 per portion fried noodles, quite expensive. Curry sauce taste good but caused extreme thirsty, too much MSG! Everything is big portion enough but everything is greasy and lot of MSG, not recommended .
