1st time ordering at the weekend and will be the last. Salt and pepper box was dryer than the Sahara desert. Salt and pepper chips tasted like normal chips with bits of onion. Mini spring rolls were really soggy. Very disappointed
Disgusting looks nice outside chips warmed up over priced portion very small for what you pay 3.50 chips curry it's disgusting what you get for the price chips are warmed up got that horrid taste everytime she don't change the oil at all it is the worst takeaway EVER DISGUSTING
Their vermicelli looked like soggy oatmeal porridge. If was so sticky and made me purge and experience flatulence for 2 days. The noodles had only tiny chicken slices and nothing else to it. The salt and pepper fries were submerged in oil and very tasteless and greasy.
Used to have a better review but changing this review because the food isn't that exciting. I want FRESH food. So things like salt and pepper chips that kinda thing is obviously freshly made to order. But the actual Chinese food that I've had so far isn't exciting at all, it's all brown and greasy and salty. I'd love to see fresh veg, broccoli, Carrots, Peas, spring onion, sweetcorn, cabbage, bean sprouts. It would put colour/natural flavour/texutre into the dishes the way they're meant to be. And when I ask if they can add vegetables to a dish, they say no. And I can only assume it's because everything is precooked into containers and then heated up at sale. Juat guessing. very friendly place very good service, lovely service. Hygiene and food is still MILES better than other local takeaways. But I wish they would consider making their dishes more fresh and colourful.
Great food. Very fresh. I Will be going back again soon :-) I am very fussy but love Lucky Star. Got a delivery on Saturday night after phoning the order through. Pleasant staff. No hassle. Hot food. Lush !! Had sweet and sour special. Soups. Beef dish. Chips and rice nice too. And chip suey roll mmmm Thank you :-)
Absolutley the best cchinese by far in my view we have tried most in farnworth but this one is the best very pleasent fast delivery excellent service and great prices also service with a smile will recommend to everybody .........
