This chip shop used to be very good. Increasingly the prices have gone up and the quality of the food has reduced. My most recent visits have been disappointing with the chips being dry and very chewy. The value for money is not great, this could be offset with some great customer service. Unfortunately this is left wanting. The walk from the door to the counter is one of the most uncomfortable walks of doom ever. The absolutely miserable staff behind the counter stare you down until you get to the counter. No smile, no what can I get you? They just stare at you until you start to convey your order like you are inconveniencing them in some way. Customers are not an inconvenience, we are the reason you have a job!!!! Anyway, one less customer to worry about here.

Called in after collecting granddaughter from school. Everywhere looked very clean and tidy. Ordered fish and chips. Took home to eat. Chips tasted and looked like they had been re heated. Fish was poor too. Threw away as couldn’t eat them. Waste of money will never go back.

Used to be good but not anymore, fish is now very thin so much so it was hard at the edges, peas half mushy half bullet like (not cooked/soaked properly) chips were good.

Been couple of times and eaten in and also had takeaway. On my last visit I ordered two takeaway fish and chips and noticed the food portions have gone very small the fish was very small and thin. The chips had alot of eyes in them and been taken out on preparation before being chipped

We ate in mid afternoon so the restaurant was not working under pressure but the service was good as was the food I had cod and was surprised at the size at the piece of cod . I would need to visit at other times to be more confident of my ratings and reasonably priced

First time going here but must say food is very tasty, a little expensive but I don’t mind as long as the food is good. You can taste in the food quality that it’s cooked fresh using quality food, it’s served with a smile and welcoming staff on the counter. Will be retuning here.
