   We were a family of five having sunday roasts and one having a vegetarian meal. The quantity and quality of the meals were very good and I especially enjoyed the gravy. Service was prompt and staff helpful even though they were busy. I can recommend this place.

   We went to an event there so only had the burger and chips from the outdoor menu which was okay, standard for that type of food. Everybody there was very friendly but not sure how typical this was as I dont think they were 'regulars ' of the pub, mostly there for the event like us. Service was good from staff both outside at the event and inside where you ordered the food. The full menu looked good so thinking of going back to give it a try .

   23rd December, rang and booked a table for lunchtime. Fairly busy, food was very good and also a generous serving. Not the cheapest but you get what you pay for and personally I thought great quality. Staff pleasant and helpful. Definately a place to go again.

   Best 12oz steak I've had in a long time. My misses has the homemade stake n ale pie. All enjoyed including afters. Very reasonably priced. Would highly recommend. We will go back.

   Nice quiet friendly place. Doesn't get really busy during the day but I've seen it 75% full at night with diners. It's clean and the staff are friendly. The food is standard pub grub so nothing spectacular as far as choice but I've never had a bad meal or bad experience there. It's located on a mega quiet road so no road noise. Go there for a chilled lunch time meal in nice sunny weather and it's especially good

   The place has had a management change since I went. But believe me when I say that they know how to cook a steak.. Wow it just melted in me mouth..soo tasty. The mrs had the chops , they where massive .Again they where cooked just right brilliant tasty food.
