Crap compared to others.... have been a few times recently while collecting furniture and offering is poor compared to other IKEA's - fridges are empty, no wraps, sandwiches, salads, fish etc (even early on).. basically you can have meatballs or fish and chips and nothing remotely healthy. Get the impression. it's purely down to laziness as it is more time consuming to make. Then to make it worse the area is absolutely freezing, everyone was sitting their their hats and coats while eating... felt like I was in Russia on communist rations.

This restaurant is now an absolute shambles! Huge cues on a weekday lunchtime due to only one staff member serving on each side, and neither were in a rush to plate up; unable to have the festive meatballs as some items had run out (at 1pm); only one cake choice available; watery drinks from the self-serve; dirty tables. This is obviously ongoing as it was no better last time I went. Extremely poor management. Won't be going again and neither should anyone because if they keep raking the money in with this shoddy service why would they bother to improve things?

Absolutely shocking service both queues were full on arrival and both sides only had one member if staff serving during peak time. Joined the queue at 1.55pm and got to the front at 2.32pm, the queue at the other side was moving much quicker, clearly the lady on the right hand counter had a much better work ethic. Lady in the left hand counter had no sense of urgency, casually strolling down to the other counter time and time again to the collect a required item, she went for a small plate and brought just one back with her she made multiple trips to the other counter at a snails pace. When we were finally at the front the people in front of us, an elderly lady waiting so long, they asked for another portion of meatballs and she went down to the other counter again to collect a small plate to put them in. When our turn to be served the woman serving was unpleasant and rolled her eyes when I asked for the festive dish, she replied I'll have to see if the sprouts are ready, despite there being a container full on the serving hot plate. Portion size was very small and when paying others from the other side had much more on their plates, chip and gravy etc. To make matters worse there was a congregation of younger staff in a back area just chatting! Come on guys help out where you can. Clearly no effective management going on. We did enjoy our small amount of food but not good value ☹️ The lady on the till was very pleasant

Served by miserable staff. Food was watery, tastes & lukewarm!! Always enjoyed popping to ikea for meatballs, won't go again. The so called refurbishment of restaurant is for the worse, certainly did not expect the quality of food to drop with it. Dining area lacked atmosphere and structure. To top it off, stopped for an ice cream before leaving. There were only 5 seats! Had to stand. Definitely gone downhill.

If you haven’t tried IKEA food, well…you must. It’s very affordable, delicious and it will make you happy before/after shopping. Great selection, very friendly staff. Loved it! The Daim cake was the highlight.

Food is standard but has crept up in price over the years, and not as nice and fresh as it used to be. The setup means you wait a while, get your food and then have to wait a while to pay. By the time this process is completed the food has gone cold. Not forgetting the walk to find the table which makes the food stone cold. A better idea would be to pay first then get your food. They just need to change the direction of the queue.

We went in this restaurant because we was in the shop in the lunchtime. Nothing special, food was with no flavours, soft drinks had wrong descriptions. I’ve had mine, descriptions said “apple juice still” and was sparkling. Veggie meatballs was really dry and unflavoured, chicken schnitzel so dry, only salmon was ok, nothing special. I hope was just for this time.

Never more! In 2021 and before, IKEA restaurant was only place in Warrington that offered cheap and relatively healthy food, which was very pleasant offer in one of the most unhealthiest countries in the world. But in 2022 a lot have changed. Prices went up rapidly, around 20% in average, white fish fillet was replaced by tasteless muddy grey fish garbage, portions are smaller and what is absolutely most disgusting is hot drink policy. Endless hot drinks for pound were replaced for endless black water called black coffee and cheapest black tea. I couldn't even start drinking 'so called' black coffee. Bland, watery, tasteless. Same as food. If you'd like to try espresso (also very mediocre), you have to pay pound extra! For 'speciality' tea it's extra 50p. I thought speciality teas are mix of herbs, malaysian jasmine tea, or passion fruit with lichy, not peppermint, or camomile teas.... I usually have double espresso or/and peppermint tea anyway, so I don't see reason why would I have to pay 2,5times more for it .. in huge international multimillion retail chain. I left IKEA absolutely disgusted and I told myself : you might got few pound more from my pocket for fish and chips, salat, cake and coffee, but you lost your frequent customer forever.
