Great place! Decent beers. Show the sports! Pro tip: if the chef is hanging around the bar at the end. Don't play the gambling machines. He waits till people put money and empties it himself most nights. Been going for years. He waits for people to put money in. Pretty sly! Stands right at the end of the bar waiting ;). Thats right. We see you dude!
Visiting Stretton Heath I would recommend a visit to the Mulberry tree, a really nice friendly pub, with lots of knooks and crannies, the staff were really friendly and for me as a football fan there are plenty of large screen televisions to watch. Would definitely go back
The Mulberry Tree Inn is a bustling bar with a lively vibe. Service is friendly and there are lots of great Greene King cask and stock beers on offer. We visited in the early afternoon and the pub had a good mix of adults and families having meals.
I usually come in most Wednesdays, mainly because my favorite barmaid Jo (with the blue hair!) is working. Mid-week, what you want from a barmaid is a laugh, someone who’ll listen while you offload and then spin it into something lighthearted to lift your mood. Jo nails that every time — her customer service is second to none. I’ll admit, her resting “serious face” on first impressions might fool you, but once you’re served, she’s brilliant. I really enjoy coming here: the vibe is great, the staff are friendly, and the place is always clean and tidy too.
Reserved a table for mother's day. The owner was so attentive, she greeted us with a glass of fizz. And wished us all a lovely time. Settled us in before taking our orders. No need to queue at the bar. Lovely pub. Sports. Great staff. A lovely Sunday ...!
We had our Christmas Party here and it was fantastic! (Again) The food was amazing and the customer service was brilliant. Nothing was to much trouble. Definitely the best pub in the village!! X ❤️
We booked this as part of our charity bike ride from MCR to Liverpool. The staff was extremely accommodating and adjusted to our needs as we preferred to sit outside. Thank you for that! The food came out and was very hot and tasty. Also a really nice spot to work remotely throughout the day. Really friendly staff and relaxing atmosphere here. Thank you once again :)
Has all the sports going on in here. No shortage of screens either. Place buzzing when the games are on. Great selection of drink. Great Guinness served here too. I didn't have any food but there was plenty of plates being served while I watched the game. This place came highly recommended, and it disappoint.
Food was excellent! Huge (and delicious) portion sizes and very reasonably priced. Plus the staff gave exceptional service. If I lived in the area this would be a regular dinner location. Very impressed.
