   Purple Garlic is hands down one of the best Indian restaurants I’ve ever been to! The flavors are authentic, rich, and absolutely delicious. Every dish tasted freshly made with the perfect balance of spices — from the creamy butter chicken to the fragrant biryani, everything was cooked to perfection. The service was just as impressive as the food. The staff were warm, attentive, and always ready to make recommendations. The portions were generous, the presentation was beautiful, and the prices were very reasonable for the quality. The naan bread was soft and fluffy, the curries were bursting with flavor, and the desserts were the perfect way to finish the meal. Whether you’re a fan of traditional Indian cuisine or trying it for the first time, Purple Garlic is a must-visit. Can’t wait to come back!

   Called to eat in, no tables available but restaurant was half empty so ordered take away. Was told 30 mins waiting, when called back had to wait a further 15 mins. 2 minute walk home, salad was the warmest thing on the starter. Korma sauce was watery, I’ve seen thicker milk and Jaipuri chicken tikka was so oily I’ve used the sauce to service my car with.

   Well I have to say, it was a very delicious curry, it actually taste really nice and the lamb was also delicious and was done really well. However my criticism is the garlic and the garlic bread, it was just pieces of dry garlic sprinkled on my Naan which is just fell off, this could of done with some butter and then cooked garlic and maybe the garlic in the curry chopped a little finer. Other than that the restaurant was lovely and clean, the service was great and the food taste good and came out hot. Will definitely be back.

   Table was booked for a large party, everything was ready no waiting at all. Poppadoms and pickle trays were brought out very quickly. Had mixed starter for two which we both thoroughly enjoyed. Cant remember which curry I had but it was excellent with beautiful chapattis and good pilaf rice. The curry said medium/hot but was only medium, but this didnt spoil my meal. Would have given 5 stars but my Mother-in-law got a mushroom omelette and chips as she doesn't enjoy spicy foods. Unfortunately the only warm thing on the plate was the salad!! Maybe if selling English meals as well take as much care as they do over their fantastic Asian menu. Definitely worth a visit.
