Definitely one of the best fish and chips I have ever had, was visiting friends in the area and went in to collect. Lovely friendly staff, great customer service and the chips were amazing not greasy like other fish and chip shops. highly recommend
First time visiting, service was great, the place looked clean - staff are incredibly welcoming. I got fish, chips and curry sauce, big sizes and the batter on the fish was to die for and the chips were tasty. By far the best fish I’ve had in Wigan! Best thing about it, it was amazingly priced!!! Will be returning!
Delicious fish and chips! The fish was crispy and fresh, the chips perfectly cooked, and the portions generous. Friendly staff and great value — easily one of the best spots around!
Can't believe this place has been run by the same family for the last 25+ years! Food is always tasty and has loads of choice including kebabs & burgers. Keep up the good work guys! Will definitely be using more regular!
Parked up for the night around the corner called in and got a three meat kebab the staff are very friendly and the kebab WOW absolutely brilliant will go again
Finally a decent chippy have to nip over from up holland as there isn't one that's any good.!but we'll worth it went 3 times in a row last week lol.plenty variety great little chippy.!
I was in the area for a football game when I came across The Pemberton Fish bar which had a steady flow of customers already. (Always a good sign) The food tasted fresh and was tasty. I’d really recommend the chicken tikka. Absolutely delicious and not greasy at all. Will visit again.
Pemb fish bar reached out to us after seeing my partners family had fled the war in Ukraine. They provided us with 5 meals of our choice and made us feel extremely welcome. Pndreas & Anastasia are very humble people who did such a kind gesture when they didn't to. It meant a lot to us. As for the food, it was THE best fish & chips I've had! It was actually my first time eating there, but it definitely won't be the last! Everyone demolished their food, although I was the only one to eat all my food in 1 sitting everyone else finished theirs the next day. As well as providing food they are also taking Artem to his first ever football game on the weekend where he'll be watching Wigan smash Bolton! Thank you Pemb Fish Bar for your kindness and doing your part for the Ukrainian refugees.
