   Have been here a few times for dining and the food is really good although enormous servings so can never finish the full meal. The landlord and staff are a really nice bunch. Nothing is too much trouble and they make sure the customer is happy with everything. The pub interior is a little worn out looking but it's the service and quality that count.

   Only stopped for a couple of pints whilst on a walk with the dog, so can't really give a comprehensive review. Also kitchen still being refurbished. Pub seemed OK, beer garden nice. Will revisit when up and running.

   Lovely pub, very friendly, lovely staff, and really excellent food, the chips are amazing, I had Steak and Stilton pie, home made, lots of tender steak chunks, generous portions , previously on an earlier visit, I had the burger which was delicious. My sister and I are making this one of regular meet up pubs. No hesitation in recommending to others

   Friendly welcome, very good service and all the food was clearly home made! I had the chicken and ham pie which was very good and packed with both chicken and ham my wife had the steak and ale pie which she really enjoyed too. Both meals were generous and very reasonably priced too

   Don't come here if you're not hungry as the food is DeeeeLish and BIG portions! Lovely welcome, coffee that's better than Megabucks or Costa Lotta and a lovely atmosphere. We loved our visit xx

   Just called in here for the first time while driving past. The staff was welcoming from first entrance and very helpful. The food was beautiful and defeated us all as the portions were massive, home cooked food at its best. We will definitely be calling again now we have found this place.
