Great meal for a small group on Saturday night and dog friendly. Great service, nice atmosphere. One of our guests has extensive food allergies but the chef and staff were fantastic and soon had a list of meals and desserts that they could eat. They were thrilled to have such a nice meal.

Nice pub style restaurant/bar. Food was ok, what you would expect in a pub in the UK. Ordered my steak medium rare and got it good old British well done. Starters were good, pork belly and prawns.

Lovely pub, really lively friendly and helpful staff. Engaging with conversations and able to make recommendations. Nicely spaced out tables and not too noisy an environment. Food was lovely, and reasonably priced. There appeared to be a good outside space too. Ample parking.

Been for a roast dinner today , had the roast share platter at £42 and I have to say, it was the nicest roast dinner I have ever eaten!! Absolutely worth every penny and plenty left over so could feed 3 possibly. Great service , great wine !

Went here for our evening meal! Absolutely delicious! We had 3 courses! What a meal! Enjoyed every bite! Highly recommended. The steak was perfection! And the pepper sauce was yum! Go! So so good, we went back for Sunday lunch! We had the platter for two! Oh my days! Huge! And possibly the best Sunday roast we ever had!

Lovely spacious grounds with a children’s playground area. They could do with some swings for the older children. At present they are only for toddlers. But the children made do with standing inside the swings. Not ideal but the rest of the equipment was good; a climbing wall, swinging ropes and balance beams, with plenty of grass to run about in. I’ve eaten here many times and the food is usually excellent. Today the fish was over cooked and oily (fortunately the children weren’t too bothered, just the adults!). Everything else was lovely, as usual; delicious beef sandwiches and breaded chicken. Wait on staff were very friendly. The teepee in the garden is lovely. Even now with restrictions being raised it’s nice to have the option for outside dining. Edit: We came here recently and although the food looked delicious wasn’t as described. Sadly thick cut bread just doesn’t taste as the expected sourdough bread. Hence the loss of a star.

I visited here when working away from home. I was made to feel very welcome by Mark who is a fantastic member of the team. I had the Pulled pork spring rolls and Lamb rump both of which we amazing!
