Such a shame Saturday night we arrived a little earlier than planned. 10-15mins. We had to wait in the car area 30-40 mins before we finally sat down. The food was on but the whole evening felt like a stuffy old restaurant. Out dated. Kids serving you in a 2 rosette restaurant?? What’s that about. The prices don’t reflect the poor level of service we received. The food. Trying to hard to be something the area quite frankly doesn’t need.

We were really excited to try Il Mulino, however we could not have been more disappointed. We arrived ten mins early for our 7.30 reservation, and understandably were asked to wait in the bar area and have a drink. This was fine, except we were not seated at our table until 8.15 - no apology. The staff didn’t have much of a clue, which was obviously down to poor management as they were polite and trying their best - but there was clearly no organisation or order to their service. Other guests were visibly frustrated with the service too, which made the atmosphere uncomfortable. When we eventually got served our starter at 8.30pm - what would have probably been a lovely meal felt below average and quite frankly we just wanted to leave. Such a shame as this place has lots of elements to be a lovely place to spend an evening - but until they have someone experienced and organising their staff effectively you will have a poor experience. Sadly, we won’t be returning.

Very average pasta dishes. The beef Ragu is just bolognese and the carbonara was extremely bland and tasted like it was made with cream. Barely any effort given to the bruschetta starter. The arancini was the only dish worth it's money. Save your money and make better dishes at home.

The food was delicious as always. Waiting on staff are friendly and polite. Lovely touch to go in the wine cave to choose your bottle of wine, great choice for all budgets and pallettes.

Smart interior, nice cosy vibes and exquisite Service from start to finish, very friendly staff and luxury menu, a hidden gem and a must try, definately worth the trip; able to fit us in last minute but would book ahead to be safe, garden area also looks like a great little summer spot to relax with some cocktails, would recommend a visit

Had a fantastic birthday night in Ill Mulino last night. My entire family went, all sixteen of us, and everyone couldn’t praise the whole experience enough. We had to pre order, which is completely understandable, and everything was perfectly presented without delays or errors. The food and its presentation is of the highest quality, you would struggle to find better in any top priced city restaurant. The restaurant itself is spotlessly clean and is beautifully appointed. Thank you to all the hard working staff for a brilliant night.

Took the fiance out for a special occasion. Food was great but service needs improving. Staff wearing trainers and own clothes takes the overall feel of the restaurant down. We didn't feel like customers , just invisible , not the warmest welcome. A somewhat lack of customer service from staff is felt, maybe they just shy I dont know. No offer of condiments, drink top ups etc. However the food was amazing! Brilliantly cooked and served. Hats off to the chef!

Went for lunch, was very quiet on a Saturday afternoon only us and another table in, but service was spot on. Very nice inside, toilets clean and posh. You could buy imported pasta, sauces and meats had a very authentic Italian theme. I had chicken starter and Pizza for main, the pizza was just the right size and very tasty and a spicy kick. Only downside was £6 for a lager shandy, seems excess.

Had a fabulous meal just before Christmas, decor is lovely, very inviting with staff friendly and attentive, food excellent with everything very well presented and so tasty, great wine cave where you can pick what you want with your meal. Lovely bar area with charcuterie counter, great restaurant and will most definitely returning. We had a great night!!
