We came here for dinner on a Tuesday evening and it was packed which is always a good sign and they managed to accommodate us on a walk in. We went straight in for the mains I had the buttermilk chicken burger and my wife had the chicken supreme before we're really nice. For pudding I had the sticky toffee pudding and my wife had the chocolate brownie again both were really nice. The staff were really nice and friendly as well. Will definitely come back.

I went to this pub, but when I was away on a business course and it was a great recommendation from my Airbnb host. The staff here was so welcoming and so friendly I could not recommend them enough. The customer service was 10 out of 10! The beef burger was a little greasy however, the chicken burger was amazing, super tasty and a big portion. I love the fact it’s dog friendly. Highly recommend and I would return 100%.

Amazing evening at the fox. Staff were so welcoming and attentive and the food was incredible. The sharing platter starter in particular was so good and portions were very generous. Will definitely be returning!

Have just returned from eating the best Sunday Roast ever. We had a sharing platter and it was cooked to perfection. Everything tasted amazing from the glaze on the gammon, the pigs in blankets, the gravy and the roast potatoes were to die for. Would we go again 100%. Staff were very friendly and the rendition of Happy Birthday was greatly appreciated. Thanks for a lovely meal on a special occasion

Went on a Wednesday just after 5pm to get the set menu. The starters and mains were amazing. All the food on the plate complimented each other. Clearly a well thought out menu. The service was amazing so much so we had to leave a tip. The meal cost us £61.50 and we got: Starters - Honey muster chipolata, chicken liver pate Mains - butternut squash salad, breaded pork schnitzel Dessert - double chocolate brownie, Eaton mess I think in the future I will be ordering the chipolatas, pork schnitzel and ice cream or Pana cotta (my girlfriend had the brownie, I usually get the non chocolate option). The starters, mains and the service are what make this place worth visiting again.

We enjoyed our meal and the staff was excellent. The car park was very busy so we had to park around the corner, easy enough tho. As much as I enjoyed the food and it was very good quality I wouldn't have a dessert next time as I found it very expensive for the size. I do however recommend the prawns to start and the chicken burger.

We attended a wedding reception here and the service was first class. The food was fantastic, everyone said how nice their food was and to serve that many people at the same time was a fantastic effort by all. They had a fair few different ales and lagers on, and there was a large outdoor area too. Very nice, and I'd like to come back for a Sunday dinner as the beef looked amazing!

Our first time here in over 30 years (I moved away a long time ago and back more recently), and have to say, it was lovely. The food delicious (see pics!) and the staff attentive and friendly. Plus points.... the staff, really good locally sourced ingredients, cooked to perfection and a very laid back evening. No one pressures you to have more or to leave when finished as often happens in other establishments. Perfectly paced. Negative points... well there are alwqys negatives but to be fair these are real nit picks. When we arrived we were asked to eat at the bar and order drinks. When we did the very pleasant bar man suggested we sit and he'd come take our order. Unfortunately he got sidetracked and this never happened. When the Maitre De came to escort us to our table he asked and was very surprised when we said we didn't have drinks. So, to complete, an excellent evening lovely staff, excellent food and a really good time. Would I go again? In a heartbeat. Yes. Great 'new' find ❤️

Outstanding pib. Parking isn't great though. Very small. Carpark, awkward spots and lots of hopeless parkers. Inside is excellent, cosy mix of modern and oldy worldy. Big bar, great service. Recommend.
