Not sure what has happened, because we used to order food many times before, if the cook changed... Last order was just terrible, prawns were VERY overcooked, very chewy and hard to bite and there were like 4 of them for 12.50 with undercooked onion. Other known dishes were surprisingly very sweet.

Tonight I ordered - Little India Platter; Apna Chicken Tikka Methi, Kashmiri Tikka Karahi & sundries - and I have to say this is the worst take-away I have had in a long time. The platter consisted of chicken tikka (ok), onion bhaji (2 - but as big as tennis balls, not cooked in the middle and beige slime), chicken seekh kebab (over cooked and just fell to crumble), veg samosa (ok). Both the onion bhaji and seekh kebabs came with translucent, greasy fried onion and peppers. Not nice!. The Kashmiri Karahi was awful - tasteless lumps of tikka chicken not related to the sauce that was just like baby food. I have never seen a Kashmiri Karahi like that anywhere else. If it was anything like another curry it could be distantly related to a korma. The Apna chicken was nothing like apna (which means traditional home-style). Both curries had no taste at all. We also got a bag of yesterdays dried up chips. We spent £42 and it all went in the bin. I don't make these observations lightly- I have family with Kashmir heritage and this food was nothing like I am used to. I am extremely disappointed with this and totally wasted over £40. I will not be ordering from here again.

Really good food, I had Kashmiri Chicken tikka karai, and hubby had the Signature meat dish. Lovely special rice and garlic naan to top it off. Even a complimentary poppadom. Reasonable price and excellent service too. Well worth it, so we will be back. PS. Can't take photos because we ate most of it.

This is usually my favourite Indian in Barnsley however they no longer do lamb tikka which is sad as I don't really like eating non free range and I know the lamb is always pasture fed. Also my last meal wasn't as flavorful as usual. Hopefully it was just a blip.

We fancied trying somewhere different for a change to our regular. At first it was looking promising place very busy, reviews great - the food was piping hot, the onion bhajis were gorgeous, nice big portions, chips great, keema rice very nice But unfortunately the actual curries let the meal down. Lacking in flavour and very bland compared to our regular Dilshad. I guess there is a reason why it’s known as the best in Barnsley. Shame as I had high hopes it could be our new regular.

Absolutely lovely. One of the best indian takeaways I ever had, 2nd best probably which is amazing. Very flavourful and you can taste the ingredients are fresh and good quality, really good. Half an hour drive from where I live, but definitely will be coming back, as it's worth it. Also the place seems really clean and the service is very professional and polite, 100% recommend. I ordered chicken tikka masala and garlic rice (garlic rice not on the menu but they still sell it).
