Once upon a time this place used to serve some of the best fish & chips you could buy anywhere. Sadly it's been a slow decline from those days. I've kept occasionally giving them a go thinking maybe I've hit an off night but tonight is the final time for that. Dripping with grease, old oil, soggy chips & worst of all the fish tasted off. For the first time ever it went in the bin after a few bites

Had cod, chips and curry sauce at Two Brothers Fish House in Ashford and it was fantastic. The batter on the cod was light, crispy and perfect, and the chips were golden and fluffy. The curry sauce was full of flavour. The place is clean and tidy, and the staff were friendly and really attentive. Couldn’t fault it and will definitely be back.

Regular customer, staff are friendly and efficient. They build a good rapport with the regulars and new customers alike. Could do with updating decor and take down screens, as hard to be heard at times. Portion sizes are good value for money and fish is fresh and good size. As with competitors, prices have jumped, especially sundries. Would try the sit-down restaurant, but too many old people always sat there. Still don't know any staff names, but on the whole, no complaints. Bonus is open on Sundays.

This was a fantastic fish and chip shop 13 years of using it..... the shop now looks very neglected in areas and the food is greasy and the oil tastes reused way to many times this shows on the colour and taste of the fish, such a shame as this is our local but I refuse to pay for this quality fish and chips its just not worth it, I know I'm not the only local person that feels this way too. Spend a bit of time and money ie invest back into the shop and it could be what it once was... just trying to give positive feedback as I would love to stay local.

What a lovely plaice, the grilled fish is great, my husband had large cod and it was a whale, batter looked spot on, chips were beautiful and fried to perfection. Best fish n chips I have had in years... Staff are very friendly, very clean place to eat... Definitely worth another visit as it is open 7 days a week, 1st Sundays of every month is gluten free menu day...

Unfortunately it will be a long while before I go back. The staff are not friendly at all. The onion rings were very overcooked and tasted of fish, not good for a veggie. The chips were very greasy which is not normal. I pre ordered so wentbto the pre order area and was completely ignored a man in the queue whispered to me to use the normal queue as they will ignore you. Shame.

Fish can be very good. Fresh and crispy batter. Let themselves down when busy. Don’t seem to have any form of system which just confuses customers and staff alike. Use a number or name system as well as repeating people’s order back to them. No benefit to the customer by phoning ahead. Won’t be going back after last confusing visit.

First time I’ve ordered from here and I have to say it was lovely. Yes okay I’m a Mr Plain when it comes to burgers, but it was lovely, chips were perfect as well. Would I use this shop again? HELL YES!!!
