A tragic fall from grace. We’ve been loyal patrons for years, but we won't be returning. The kitchen is still doing its job, but the front-of-house has become an absolute shambles. Amazing food can no longer mask the sheer incompetence of the service. What was once a reliable favorite is now a massive letdown.
I’ve dined here before with my partner and had no issues, but when I returned with a group of friends, the treatment was completely unacceptable. From the moment we arrived, the atmosphere was cold and unwelcoming. To make matters worse, we were told we had to pay upfront — something I’ve never experienced in any decent restaurant. It felt discriminatory, unprofessional, and downright insulting. We complied, but the entire experience was ruined by the way we were treated. A restaurant that makes guests feel like a problem the moment they walk in does not deserve returning customers. I will never come back, and I strongly advise others to avoid this place.
So glad to live just around the corner from this place (formerly known as Steak & Lobster). It’s incredibly convenient to pop in for lunch or dinner. The steak is always cooked to perfection, and the lemon salad is so delicious you’ll find yourself wanting more with every bite. The décor and ambience are warm and inviting, making it a great spot to relax and enjoy a meal.
Delicious, tender and well cooked steak and crisp fries. The croquettes were OK for staters. The dessert jar was an extraordinary experience - a meal in it self. A limited and ordinary wine selection. OK service. Ambiance as you would expect in an airport hotel.
It was my friend's birthday and we celebrated it at the Steak and Lobster. The lobster was nice. The hotel was very nice but the food is too expensive. 4 adults eating main course with 2 deserts £225. This is ridiculous!! I will not be rushing back for lobster and fries for that price.
Went as a group for the 4-course NYE meal. It was busy, but not loud. Food was pretty great, and we were absolutely stuffed by the time dessert came. Good portions, and the peppercorn steak sauce is super tasty. A little pricy, but we definitely got what we paid for. Service was very nice, although being NYE the waitress was very busy - understandably! We were very well taken care of. Beautiful space, good amount of seating, and great for people-watching if that's what you're into.
Had the surf and turf plate with both the rib eye steak and lobster and paprika fries. I added the blue cheese sauce as extra. Everything was very delicious, steak juicy and tender. I was a bit unlucky being seated at a table next to a larger family with many kids running around the tables, which ruined the otherwise nice and potentially more quiet and cozy atmosphere for me. Would love coming back for another steak some day :-)
Cooked to perfection! As an American I found it odd to have fries with steak, but after tasting it was perfect together. My sister had lemon salad with hers. It was very tasty as well! My waiter gave an excellent recommendation for drinks too! Coffee to end our evening was just perfect! Thanks for the amazing dinner and experience!
This restaurant has style, the design and lighting effects culminate in a beautiful sparkly Bellagio Hotel (LV) type glass artwork on the island bar. Staff work exceptionally well providing fast service and excellent food. We had the Lobster Surf n Turf and a T-bone Steak which we highly recommend. Good music to chill. Loved the Paprika chips. Service charge added so no need to tip excellent service. Love the ambience of the evening highly recommend.
