   I went in for lunch as part of a work trip. I bought a saveloy & chips with two cans of drink for £8.50. When I returned to the place I was working and unwrapped the food, the saveloy was missing and I didn’t have enough time to go back. How hard can it be to give people what they order? The chips were nice & plentiful though so I give a solid 1 out of 5.

   The batter on the cod was over cooked dark brown in colour and therefore made the thinner half of the fish dry.. chips awful powdery frozen style chips.. sorry we won't be back....

   Recently moved to the area and fancied some fish and chips so though I'd try my new local and I can honestly say I was very pleased! Cod bites were lovely and batter was perfect, the chips were delicious, light and crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside! Will definitely be a regular customer at my new local fish and chip shop.

   Very expensive for fish and chips. You’d expect perfect fish and chips for the price but unfortunately it is average at best. Cod batter was completely stuck to the paper and lost all of the batter from one side of the fish. Chips came bland, unsalted and no vinegar. Very disappointing

   Excellent fish and chips highly recommend , The best for miles. Fish white and lovely, no bones and no skin. Beautiful. Double fried chips.... perfect. 10 out of 10. Highly recommended.

   It’s been along time since I’ve had fish and chips this good, cod is cooked to perfection and portion size is very generous great value for your money well worth the visit! very friendly staff and all fish cooked to order! You’ve tried the rest come get the best in the area!

   Was very disappointing and wasn't as good as usual. Fish was swimming in oil, it was almost cold. What a letdown, it is usually so good. If this happens again custom will be lost. Value for money I would only give 2 stars.

   Best fish and chips I had so far! They are very friendly, everything freshly cooked (not soggy from oil as in some other places) and even I couldn’t finish the small portion. I had the second half next day reheated, still been delicious. Very happy with them :)
