It's constantly online and seems to be taking money from people, yet it's been closed since early December. There's still prawn crackers in the hot hold that have been there for months. I live facing it, not once has it been open. Don't try and order from here.
Ordered online and was told it would be ready 6:45 got there and was told it would be another ten minutes, staff just stood on their phone. Got my food at 7:20 got home 5 minute drive and everything other than the rice was cold, called to tell them and was asked to bring all the food back and they would change it. Not good enough after it was late and cold, no offering of anything and was told “what do you want me to do”. Food also isn’t as nice as it used to be char Sui fried rice was literally char Sui and rice normally there’d be peas and other bits added in but just basic, tasteless and crap
Not even worth 1 star, absolutely utterly disgusting food and service. To begin with the 4 staff were stood staring at us making it very awkward when trying to select our food. The salt and pepper chicken I got was somehow well overcooked, very chewy and difficult to swallow, but the batter was soft and gooey. Disgusting!! Girlfriends meal fared no better, her chips where practically raw on the middle, and she seemingly only received a desert spoon full of gravy over the top. The whole thing went in the bin, never again. This used to be a top notch chippy, no more!!
Has an awful meal last week -chicken very chewy and two pieces of pineapple in chicken and pineapple. No cashew nuts that I had requested to be added even though we were charged for them and crispy duck had no spring onions or cucumber with it- when I rang to complain the lady said she would put a note on our address for 2 free meals but when rang up this week the lady didn’t remember and nothing has been written down. It was like we were telling lies! Luckily the chef remembered I think and we got our meals free- which were very tasty and had cashew nuts in.
The chippy has undergone new owners in the last few months and unfortunately went downhill. I ordered dinner meat today, half of it is cold and tasteless and the other half is sat in a greasy broth. The chips were anaemic and for peak times after 1700 you’d expect the chips to be ready to go. Had to wait 10 mins for chips which unfortunately were then rushed out the fryer.
Quickly become one of our favourite takeaways. Super service and top notch food. The menu is extensive with meals for every taste. Everything we have had has been superb. Definitely worth a visit
Really good food! Been here 3 times since moving into the area 3 months Ago! Wouldn’t go anywhere else now, brilliant food, good service ! Never had a Chinese as nice !! Be back next week ! :)
Got a donner kebab from here. When I opened it at home the pitta bread fell apart and looked like it had been cut open with a blunt spoon ! The donner meat was at best warm. Also one of the delivery drivers was behind the counter loading chips into boxes for an order. Not very hygienic. Seem to be only bothered about the delivery’s so I won’t be bothering them with my custom again.
Absolutely disgusted, ordered 2 Singapore vermicelli at 18h00, delivered at 20h45. Phoned the chippee twice, the first time they told me it was on the way. An hour later I phoned again, they had not seen my order, and said they would prepare and send straight away. Being lied to and waiting 2h45 mins is absolutely disgusting.
I've always liked to support our local chippy, but last time the fish was very greasy. Thought would give them another chance tonight, but the fish was actually rotton and smelly. Phoned to complain but all they could do was offer more fish that we'd have to go out again to collect. No thanks, and will go somewhere else next time. Bring back George!
