Always a great choice!..I visit every time that I fly out of Heathrow...Had the pleasure of bringing my daughter and Son in Law this time so they could see what I'm always raving about...the chicken mushroom pie was excellent as always! The burger was great too!
The Pheasant Inn – what a gem! ★★★★★ This place feels like stepping into a warm hug. It’s genuinely authentic and incredibly cozy, with that rare charm you only get from a true family-run spot. You’re greeted and looked after by the owner (the dad) and his two children who clearly pour their hearts into everything they do. The way they treat every guest makes you feel like you’re dining at a friend’s home rather than a restaurant. The food is excellent – hearty, flavorful, and cooked with care – but it’s the atmosphere and the people that make it really special. If you’re looking for somewhere that combines great cooking with proper warmth and hospitality, this is it. Can’t recommend it enough!
Staff were friendly here and helpful. The food was very tasty but the portions could feed at least two people for one meal. If you have a layover in London and dont have time to see much this is a good place to go for the British experience.
Just amazing. Had the shoulder of lamb and I was blown away! Here with work colleagues doing a training seminar, and we were told this place was good... "Good" doesn't come close to doing the food here justice! Quite possibly the best lamb I've had. Outstanding food, friendly staff.. this place is AMAZING! If I could give ten stars out of five, I would. Come hungry!
A great place!! Love their IPA draught beer and it was very good. Cold and fresh. Food came in very big portions — I could not finish it all! Tastes great and good quality. The place is busy and has fun energy. Staff was okay and service was fast. If you like beer and big food, you should visit! Would come again if I’m in London.
Stopped for a quick lunch. Can’t go wrong with pub food. Especially when they serve gluten free. Everyone is friendly, no dietary requirement is hard then to cater to. They have a good homely feeling so your always welcome. We had food in the pub but I have heard restaurant is top notch too. Parking is no issue.
Liked the style of this like a traditional English pub. Decent menu and decent prices considering its near the airport. Service was easy the way it should be. Good facilities, WiFi, toilets, comfortable seating. They have also put real effort into outside seating which looks great. Really struggled between 4/5 star here but in the end it does exactly what it says honest bar lunch and obviously enjoyed by the locals as it was rather busy considering it was early afternoon always a good sign.
Went here for a Christmas do a couple of years back, was impressed. Still incredibly impressed when I went back yesterday and had the death by meat aka the Mixed Grill - big portion, plus meats were cooked perfectly. Excellent pub with great food, worth a visit, but better to book ahead if you want to eat in the evening.
Absolutely smashing restaurant, a little on the pricey side but definitely worth it! The quality of the food and also the portion sizes make it value for money. The team are so so lovely and will happily go out of their way to ensure you enjoy your experience with them. I have dined here on numerous occasions, birthdays, anniversaries etc and the team always recognise this with a cake for the party to share! Special mention to our server Sasha who we had a good laugh with and was so chatty and friendly, will definitely be visiting again!
