Light airy venue, staff welcoming and helpful. sadly the food is poor and overpriced. Toasted Ciabatta’s were only warm, chewy and unappetising, salad leaves were brown

Always very busy so can be a little wait to queue to order and not always so clean around the tables etc. However, the food is really good and never too long to wait after ordering. The ploughman's lunch and the burgers are amazing. Very generous portions too

Not the best experience and quite frankly after a number of years going there, the food quality and standards are very poor. It’s ridiculously busy with queuing of 20 minutes plus. Breakfast cut off is 12pm so if you arrive in good time, by the time you get to the front of the queue they stop serving breakfast. Today was a disaster, £44 pounds for food, coffee and two pastries. The chips with the burger were soaked in oil and you can see they had been re -fried a number of times, I would go as far as to say the oil being used did not show or smell to be clean, going off the industry I was formally part off and the burger although edible, was under seasoned and dry at the edges. This would explain that from point of ordering to service of food we only waited 7 minutes. The chips were replaced with chips that were equally as similar. I ate the better ones and left the rest. The two pastries were raw underneath and we left half of each. The drinks arrived 10 minutes after the meals were served. Not ideal. This is not the place it used to be and the head chef and management need to take a good look at themselves if this food standard is acceptable. I can honestly say after possible the 5th negative experience there, I will save my money and go else where. This review is not a reflection of garsons, just the restaurant within.

Orangery Tea House is a spacious cozy spot with a lovely, inviting atmosphere. The staff were friendly and efficient, and our food arrived quickly. We ordered the Vegetarian Breakfast, Avocado Toast, and Salmon Bagel—all of which were delicious. The cappuccino was also excellent. We made sure to arrive early on Sunday to beat the weekend crowd, and it paid off. Highly recommend for a relaxing and tasty experience!

Long queue to order coffee - 10 minutes - all cakes and biscuits £2.95 very expensive for what they were. When the drinks arrived 2 lattes very cold & replacements were the same - couldn't be bothered to complain again!

Very nice observatory for dining, especially during summer sunny days. Food price is reasonable, and serve quick. Just be prepared for long queue on ordering.

The Orangery Tea House: Had to wait 20 mins in the queue and about 15 mins to have a coffee, smoothie, cheese cake and a banana cake slice. The garden centre: It is just beautiful with a great setup. The Green groceries and strawberries were just perfect. Strawberry picking: Need to book online which we didn’t. Will definitely do it next time.

Very nice setting, but food was a let down. The positives : Very nice location and a nice setting with plenty of tables. Staff were very polite and friendly. The negatives : We found the breakfast to be very average. The sausages looked like they were cooked to death. Looked like maybe from previous days leftover? or just very badly cooked. My wife had ordered scrambled eggs with her breakfast and that too did not look like freshly cooked. Overall, we thought the food was a let down.
