   We were invited to a 21st birthday party and they had hired out the whole venue. The food, atmospheric was lovely. They got a bar, there's lots of seating and space for a dance floor.

   We had booked a table for 6 people to celebrate my grandad’s 70th birthday, but unfortunately our experience with this restaurant was extremely disappointing. When we arrived, we were not greeted or served at the door at all. Despite having a confirmed booking, no staff member approached us, acknowledged us, or made any effort to assist. It became clear that a private party was taking up the entire restaurant, and the place was already at full capacity. Even so, the restaurant had still accepted our booking — something they clearly were not prepared to accommodate. After waiting with no communication whatsoever, we had no choice but to leave and find another restaurant for our celebration. This was incredibly inconvenient and upsetting, especially on such an important day for our family. Accepting a booking they couldn’t honour and failing to provide even basic service made this a very disappointing experience. Unfortunately, we cannot recommend this restaurant based on how we were treated.

   We booked the restaurant 2 weeks ago for 5 people and then got a call from the restaurant to ask us to cancel as they have a booking for 35 people. After speaking to the restaurant owner he confirmed that it was ok and the problem was resolved l and are booking was still ok for 7:00pm. Once we arrived we had been sitting for 35-40 mins without being served and at this point we had brought some drinks. We asked if we could order and the staff told us to wait. We were informed the party of 35 people didn’t want anyone else there. When I spoke to the chef/ owner and explained all 5 of us had booked an uber and brought drinks and after being here for 40 mins we being told you can’t serve us. After speaking to you yesterday you confirmed the booking was ok and now you aren’t going to serve us. I began to explain that this serve isn’t right and we booked 2 weeks ago and the booking was confirmed yesterday this isn’t on. The owner then went on to explain what can he do .. I can’t lose 35 people. I then got annoyed he was taking the mick !

   As a visitor from the US, I was lucky to stumble upon this place through folks who lived in the neighborhood. It really is a hole in the wall type of place, so best to take your food home. My rating is based on their to go kebab rolls. They are £5 each, consisting of two charred kebabs (lamb), salad, chili sauce and a nan fresh from the tandoor. Having had these types of kebab rolls from all over the world I think these really are a pretty darn good! I would totally recommend this place!!! They have a lot of other options too, see photos of their kebab types. If you’re in the local area I would recommend. Addition: next day had the spicy chicken tikka roll - excellent! staff were also very good in the store.

   Really great food. Relaxed atmosphere, didn't feel like we had to rush so they could have the tables. Friendly helpful staff. Hope to come back soon. Highly recommend! We had a family group of around 15 including children.

   There is a very old joke about a man complaining in a Chinese restaurant about the food being rubbery and the waiter says "thank you, sir" It must have been told here first. On the upside, the vegetables were crisp and the boiled rice and Chinese tea good. The meats on the other hand... I had won ton soup, the won ton would have bounced off the walls and killed anyone on the next table, had anyone else been in there. I had barbecue pork, which surely must be a stable of any Cantonese restaurant, it was tough and tasteless: it looked the part but resisted my teeth very successfully, and they're all my own. Truly, over 45 years, the worst Chinese food I have ever been served. For aficionados of original post-war austerity furniture and decoration it is a must, just don't eat

   TAKE_OUT: Mongolian Lamb special was delicious. All the food was perfectly cooked, fresh and delicious. Some of the best food we have had from a Chinese take-away in the area. Really recommend it! Service was friendly and helpful. (Cannot comment as yet on sitting-in.)
