Amazing place, came here for my husbands birthday and he was not disappointed. The food and service is 10/10, cannot complain. Let the photos do the talking! Randeep was very friendly - cannot fault the service, thank you for making my husbands birthday special .
Great mixed grill they have just refurbished the restaurant so a nice vibe inside too worth the money, not too expensive get a lot food for the money! If we lived closer I would go a lot more

Food was amazing here. Great customer service and interaction. Lovely place for family's. It was quiet for the time me and my partner went with very nice chairs and tables and TV's with sports channels
We ate here yesterday and was blown away by portion size and authentic flavours. Menu is extensive and food was awesome. We were only people in (funny time and football on) but service was brilliant! Ordered way too much but they simply packed us a goody bag and can’t wait for lunch today!
I travel 1 hour for the mix grill here best in the business better than Prince of wales by a mile. Food has so much flavour can never go wrong with AQ keep it up guys !!!
I have visited the place with few friends, and I have to say I just had a good mix grill. I also had the jumbo masala mix grill as well and really felt that all the meat was soft and on point. the service was really good Sb’s the staff are extremely friendly and helpful. My expectations didn’t fail as the food was tasty. Ambience is ok as well and the traditional flavours I felt on the food
I have been coming to African Queen since I was a child. Was our family go to for a mixed grill and food. It’s changed hands a few times and it’s not been great. Recently I’ve heard it had changed again and everyone has said that the food is as good as the original owner from many years ago. I have to say that even though the place was really busy. The food and time it took to come out was really poor. We waited 1 hour for food. We ordered the Special mixed grill, Butter chicken, saag paneer and masala chips. The grill was big but really lacked flavour and it was definitely not cooked in a tandoor. The butter chicken was very sweet. The masala chips and saag paneer were decent with nice flavours. Was disappointed after hearing this place has really upped its game.
One of the best takeaways I've had. Only deliver to some hotels near Heathrow so be careful when you're looking for somewhere to stay The Masala fish was delicious, all the sides were superb too. Quick delivery and friendly service
Went here to watch the football and grab a mixed grill. The lamb chops are definitely better than those you get at Prince of Wales/The Scotsman. Service was excellent. Only disappointment was the mogo, which was a bit dry. Appears to be family friendly too (went on a Sunday afternoon).
