Excellent local cafe serving a great variety of comfort food from hearty breakfast fry ups to delicious kebabs and deserts. Some great Turkish specialties too including Lahmacun and lovely Turkish coffee and sweets. Really welcoming and friendly staff with plenty of seating both indoors and outdoors.
Came in this afternoon with my mum to takeaway kebabs. When I say this was the best kebab I have ever had. It was HUGE I got salad on the side and it was a full container of beautiful fresh salad and onion and chilli peppers. No stingy skimping. Even the sauce pots are big. Honestly the nicest lamb donner I’ve ever had and the place was clean and welcoming. Thank you.
I recently had the pleasure of ordering a mixed kebab to sample the different meats, along with a chocolate milkshake. The kebab was truly delicious; each piece of meat was tender, flavorful, and simply melted in my mouth. I highly recommend trying this dish to experience all the wonderful flavors. The chocolate milkshake was equally amazing, with a perfect consistency that allowed me to enjoy it throughout my meal without it becoming too thin. The venue itself was clean and beautifully designed, and I particularly appreciated the theme they had chosen. The seating was also very comfortable. The service was exceptional, with friendly and attentive staff. Overall, I thoroughly enjoyed my visit and certainly plan to return!
The staff are wonderful. They create a vibrant atmosphere and are super attentive. The food is absolutely delicious in every way. If you happen to see the owner Tony, then lucky you, as he is a true gentleman and a Whitton Hero.

Taste of the food was at best mediocre. Poor on value for money. Presentation and shop look good but let down was taste and prices.
Ordered for Christmas eve. Best lamb kofta I've had in a long while! They also accommodated an extra request for chips. Honestly, this place never disappoints. 5/5
I had tried this place once before and the food was mediocre and over priced. I thought I’d give them another chance after 2 or so years only to wait for half an hour despite being under the impression that this is a fast food restaurant. I noticed that there were 6-7 workers (some of which were just standing around doing nothing) and nobody had even begun making the food because the doner grill had been turned off. I waited for 30 entire minutes and they still hadn’t begun making the food I ordered so I decided to just get up and leave. Due to this experience I will not be returning to Golden Grill ever again. Don’t waste your time here, there’s plenty of other restaurants in the area which will welcome you with a higher level of service and better quality food at an affordable price.
This place is massively overpriced. We ordered a mixed grill at the counter for 3 people for £39.90 and we received what is in the picture. One skewer of chicken, one skewer of lamb, some chicken and lamb diner predominantly taken up by rice. It also came with salad, humus and a few pitta breads. I fail to see how this is a meal for 3 people. It would have been cheaper to order individual large meals than this. I called them to let them know a previous recent order from Just Eat that was much cheaper had double the meat and was told that one must have been a mistake. Even if that order was a mistake, there is no way what they provided is a meal for 3 given the price of individual meals and what they contain. Shame, excellent quality food but let down by customer service.
Friday 8th July 2022 - 18:14 Great place. Whenever I go here it is always busy, people eating in and people getting a takeaway. There is always a constant flow of delivery drivers collecting orders. Access is on street level but doors are manual. They use to only take cash but they now accept card payments. We went to the German Doner place in Twickenham a while back and ordered 2 large doner boxes with chips; tonight’s small chicken from The Golden Grill has more meat than what we got in 2 portions from the German Doner place. I like the way they make the order how you like it. Neither of us bother with the pitta bread which they leave out, if you ask they will put the salad in a separate container. I think £16.90 for a large mixed doner, small chicken doner and a portion of salad is very good value for money. Will go back.
