I am a local and go to this chip shop sometimes. The food is delicious and they have things that you normally wouldn’t find in a chip shop. And I hope soon that the kebab side off the shop will be open soon. They have been working on it for months and I am very excited. I am a drawer and one time I drew their logo(I’m not saying you should do this so plz don’t try it) but I got a small free chips which was really nice(it also helped that I am a local and the owner knows me quite well). I am very please. I forgot to take a photo but if you look at the other reviews you will see. Thanks

It was an absolute pleasure to discover that Fish & Tipple offer gluten-free fish and chips on Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays. The owner is lovely and was very accommodating of our dietary needs. Not to mention, the food was delicious! We will certainly be ordering from here again and wish the business all the best for the future - if you haven’t tried them yet, make it a priority!

Absolutely amazing fish and chips! The food was fresh, perfectly cooked, and full of flavour. What really stood out was how well they catered to our various dietary needs, including gluten-free options. Everything was handled with care and attention, and everyone in our group enjoyed their meal. Highly recommend!

I love the unique chip shop-cum-off-licence concept here, which is what drew me in when I had a craving for some good old-fashioned chips. Stopped by for lunch and had to wait about ten minutes as my medium portion was cooked fresh to order. The chips came out piping hot, perfectly fluffy on the inside, and I gave them a generous splash of salt and vinegar—just the way I like it! While the quality of the chips was great, I was disappointed by the portion size. For the price, I expected a bit more, and I left feeling a bit short-changed. Nice place overall.

Best fish and chips in the Twickenham area for sure. Food is made to order and I would highly recommend the cod gougons which is their speciality and the chips are always on point. Friendly staff and reasonable prices 10/ 10.

placed an order for takeaway over the phone and I had specifically asked for just ketchup and cheese in my burger, I went to collect my food and went all the way home only to open the burger and see that they’ve put burger sauce instead of ketchup. I am highly allergic to the ingredients in burger sauce and as a result of this I could’ve ended up in hospital if I even took a bite. Not only that, but the cod I ordered was extremely greasy and soggy. The batter had come off on the paper it was wrapped in. When I went to return my order I asked for a full refund of my food and the owner of the shop denied me a refund for the fish and said that it wasn’t his problem that I am allergic to the burger sauce. He argued with me and only gave me an apology and said would refund for the burger that’s it, even though the whole meal was ruined due to the fact that I could’ve been put in hospital because of the standard of food and service they provide. I will never be returning as I am concerned for my health. Would recommend people triple check their order at the counter if ordered for takeaway.

OMG the cheesy chips are too die for and worth coming here just for those. Staff was very friendly, fish was a little overdone, and the batter was a little too crispy for me personally. However I would definitely come back and try a different fish with cheesy chips of course

I've had fish and chips from 'Fish & Tipple' a couple of times now and on each occasion the fish was both fresh and fried to perfection in a delicious clean batter. The chips the same, fried to a light golden colour, fresh and clean... Good prices too, I definitely recommend this fish and chip shop.. 5*****

I love fish and chips, but not with from a giant giant spine like bone in it. Not what you expect. Also batter tasted like it had been sitting around for ages. It was so bad I couldn’t eat it. The batter sausage was also solid on one side like it had been sitting around for a long while. Yet it says everything cooked from fresh.
