Thakers serves absolutely delicious food. I always visit whenever in Hounslow and it has never disappointed. Gagan gave 10/10 service from the moment I walked through the door. Don't miss this gem of a restaurant! The aloo paratha and homemade pickle is my personal favourite.

I had an amazing experience at Thakers! The Vada Pav was absolutely delicious crispy, flavorful, and authentic. I recently tried the dahi puri and tikki chaat, and I was absolutely delighted! The tikki took me right back to my childhood in India — the taste was so nostalgic and authentic, just like the ones we used to have back home. The dahi puri was equally impressive — massive in size and packed with flavor. Definitely worth the money, and the portion was more than enough to get completely stuffed. Every bite was worth it. Situated on **Hounslow High Street near Cineworld**, this spot offers a fantastic selection of flavorful and well-cooked dishes that left me completely satisfied. I ordered: - **Mushroom Popcorn** – Crispy, well-seasoned, and packed with flavor. - **Bombay Grilled Sandwich** – A classic done right, with the perfect balance of spices and textures. - **Masala Chips** – Spicy, tangy, and absolutely addictive! - **Mogo (Cassava Fries)** – Cooked to perfection, crispy on the outside and soft inside. Though these were just snacks, they were so filling that I didn’t even need a main course! The **customer service was great**, adding to the overall positive experience. 5/5 for the food 5/5 for the service - lovely accommodating staff when they are not very busy ZERO out of 5 for use of disposable plastic. We are in 2023 and not in the 90's. With the alarming rise of landfill trash and with extensive research on the harmful effects of microplastics which enter our food stream through soil, we can at least reduce the direct consumption of microplastics by NOT putting piping hot food on disposable plastic containers :( Note to the owner: I can understand that using stainless steel or reusable dinnerware might not be cost-effective since it may involve more staff, a dishwasher etc. but this conscious investment can increase your popularity if you promote environmental awareness by adopting a planet-friendly approach. Loved the food it's awesome I would say. I must say I enjoyed every single bite of the food. Aalo paratha , chole batura , spicy sandwich, paneer chilly , masala tea , vada pav simply awesome and mouthwatering. The service is quick and good . Definitely a go to place
Customer service was average. Clean restaurant. I'm not sure about the toilets. Ate Chole Bature. The puri was not fried properly. I could feel the batter . May be because it was not fried in hot oil. Pao Bhaji was ok. Mango lassi was good. The rates are expensive for the good here.
This was our first foray into Indian food, and the cashier was extremely helpful giving us suggestions on what to order. Everything was so delicious! Their prices are great, too!
We went there because we were in the town for some personal work and a friend recommended to give this place a try. Overall we had an average experience. The place was neat and clean. The place has outdoor seating as well and toilets were clean. We ordered the following: vada pav - was good, worth ordering again samosa - taste was good but we don't understand why potatoes are not smashed but are just chopped and stuffed in. Mango Lassi - very good Chilli paneer - horrible on taste, chef needs to go out and try chilli paneer at other places Chilli cheese onion Partha - good Crispy bhindi - was very good though it is usually served as hot and spicy at other places. It was mild here but tasty and served with a salsa dip. Portion size was good for the price Thali - we felt the portions were small, rajma and bhindi in Thali were good.
