   We ordered in the takeaway on Thursday and was served by a sweet lady (who we assumed was Ruby). Service with a smile, and so so cute! The food was so tasty and such a great value for money. We aren't from the Chester area and were staying at a nearby hotel and we are glad we came across this place on google. The foo young was absolutely delicious. Thank you Ruby and all !! X

   Not only is the food here great, every time. But Ruby is always a little ray of sunshine, making everyone feel better with her delightful chuckles. Service with a smile every time! Full menu photos added to make sure more people can enjoy as well, especially the vegatarians.

   I was visiting a friend in Littleton and said I'd pick up a Chinese takeaway on the way to her. As I live in Edinburgh I had no idea where to go so looked up lots of reviews and decided on Ruby Fish and Chip Shop. Had a lovely chat with the owners son whilst I waited for my food. Then had a fabulous meal with my friend. The portions are huge, we couldn't eat it all and the food is very tasty. My friend will definitely be using you again.

   Just discovered this takeaway! Love the spring rolls that are freshly cooked on site. It is difficult to find veggie options in Chester but Ruby's has plently of tasty options. Very friendly service and good value for money.

   Don't be mislead by the name, although they do fish and chips, this is a first class Chinese takeaway. Ran by the lovely Ruby, her husband and beautiful daughter Denise, this family run business has been here for 35 years. The food is exceptional, and skilfully cooked or handmade by the owners. A warm welcome is guaranteed and you can ask which is the best dishes they recommend. The portions are very generous as is the pricing very fair. Not your average Chinese takeaway, more like you won't forget this place!!

   We came here a lot when we used to live in Hoole. It’s my go to place for Chinese food. Tonight we went back again after haven’t been here for a while. We got rice crackers, Peking Square Ribs, Sweet and sour chicken, fried rice, hot&sour soup and beef chowmein. Food tasted lovely as always ! Portion is always huge. Price is cheap compared to what we got. These ribs are massive ! They do take card payment. Staffs are very lovely and friendly. The owner, the Chinese lady always remind me of my grandma. She smiles all the time and make me feel welcomed everytime I visit.
