My first visit to this restaurant did not live up to expectations. From the start I found the male member of the front of house team rude. When asked, someone on my table responded that they had not enjoyed their main course due to it being tough. Rather than offering any apology his retort was that no one else had complained. The bread of my bruschetta starter was burnt, by the time the vegetables came out to accompany the main course, the food was nearly cold and the staff barely had a grasp of "gluten free." Nothing was made in house and so the food, along with the service was mediocre. I will be not be returning

Had a really nice meal with friends at Pacinos and the food was excellent and really good value for money. The restaurant is in a bit of an odd location but once you’re inside you forget all that. My only criticism was that is that it’s a bit draughty. I think there was a bit of a gale coming under a door and I was getting the worst of its arctic blast. Great food though so I’d be happy to eat there again although maybe I’d sit somewhere different.

Out of the way comfortable Italian experience, very much like a Trattoria. The service and ambience are very good, with good quality well prepared food. Nice and tidy inside with maybe a slight refresh needed in the gents…but only a niggle. Prices are keen considering the home cooked quality. On my list for a return visit.

A five minute walk from the centre of Chester well worth the effort. The food was really good and very reasonably priced. Well worth it if you like Italian food.

What an absolute gem this place is! The food was fabulous and the atmosphere relaxed. Staff were friendly and just the right mix of attentive without being too much. We enjoyed our visit immensely

Nice little restaurant and beautiful decor. The staff were so friendly and kind. Food was tasty (most of all the homemade cheesecake).

The family and I have been coming here for years. Absolutely adore this place. Always great service and fantastic food and tasty wine. It truly is the hidden gem of Chester, we always recommend Pacino’s to our friends. Took my mum here today for her birthday. As always, we were greeted warmly and seated promptly. I had the house red, the pork ribs and goats cheese bruschetta as a starter and then the lamb shank with a side of super tasty vegetables for the main. And of course I had to have a dessert - cheesecake! Everything was fantastic. Cleared our plates as always. Pacino’s really makes you feel like part of the family. You’re welcome in with open arms and served such delicious food. We’re all so ready for a nap now. We’ve had a lovely evening. Always come here if you get the chance.

Not very inspiring looking from the outside, especially when closed, but don't judge this book by its cover! Despite it being January when we visited, a traditionally quiet month for most businesses, Pacinos was busy and buzzing, a good sign. Just outside the city centre, we got a taxi to and from the restaurant, something we'd recommend. This English run and staffed Italian Restaurant has got everything right in the food and service departments and is great value. It has some great reviews and I can see why, highly recommended!
