Incredible veggie thali - amazing choice of rotating curries, dizzying variety of chutneys and fantastic choice of breads. Such friendly service, and a warm atmosphere in a no-frills environment. Staff are attentive to vegan diet too.

Every dish is packed with flavor and care, the service is genuinely warm and attentive, and the atmosphere is cozy and inviting. If you want to enjoy authentic Gujarati food, this is the place to be. The restaurant is simple, but the service is warm, friendly, and attentive. The food is absolutely delicious fresh, flavorful, and entirely vegetarian, lovingly prepared by the family themselves. I strongly recommend this place to anyone looking for a genuine Gujarati dining experience.

This place isn’t just a restaurant, it’s soul food in its truest form. The warmth here goes beyond just the flavours it’s run by people who make you feel like you’ve come home. It’s like being fed by your family, there’s no “service” here in the commercial sense. It’s care. It’s affection. It’s that loving insistence of “have one more bite.” The food? Excellent. Not just taste-wise, but emotionally satisfying. When the food is this you don’t need to dress it up with fancy ambience. Soul food doesn’t ask for mood lighting or background music. It fills the room with its own comfort. This place deserves to be celebrated. It’s not just a meal, it’s an experience of home.

The customer service here is phenomenal!Friendly, attentive, and really made the experience enjoyable. It was very busy when we arrived, so we had to wait about 30 minutes for a table, but the food was well worth it. Everything we ordered was delicious, and the portions were massive, definitely come hungry or be ready to take leftovers home. Prices are quite affordable, especially considering the portion sizes and quality. Parking is available around the area, but it can be tricky to find a spot, so give yourself some extra time. Overall, it’s a great place for a satisfying meal with excellent service, and I’d definitely recommend it if you’re after generous servings and good value for money.

OMG ! Often you hear "dont judge a book by its cover". Asher's is a similar story. Very unassuming from the outside and even when you step in, you are not sure what to expect. The restaurant is laid out as an Indian diner, the service is very good but elegantly and refreshingly simple. And then you come to the food, if you like Gujarati food, look no further as all arrows should point to Asher's. Service is slow (no criticism) because they need a little bit of time to prepare fresh food. But the food is finger licking delicious. A must visit for anyone in this area and who loves Gujarati Indian food. A small note that this is a vegetarian restaurant so not for meat lovers. Parking can be challenging around Wembley but worth the perseverance as the food is great. Asher's is a hidden gem. Highly recommended.

We are have been eating here for two years now. We visit at least once a month because of the delicious homely food served by the lovely and friendly owner Vikram. We are vegan and Vikram caters to our vegan needs very well. They have plenty of vegan options as well (except yogurt and dairy based desserts). They can make Puran Poli vegan though which is a huge plus :)

Update 5/04/22 Echo everything I have said below. Truly outstanding. I stumbled across this place by pure coincidence, I was stuck in traffic on the A406, however decided to eat to let traffic ease. I am so glad I did. I would describe this place as simplicity at its best. The host felt like a relative, the venue itself felt like I was at my baa's dining room. The menu is a no frills keep it simple menu, straight and directly to the point. Excellent range of home cooked traditional Gujarati food. Unfortunately they don't accept cards, and I literally only had enough cash on me for a Special Gujarati Thali, which to be fair was plenty of food. This came with a choice of two vegetable dishes, you choose from the selection from the day, accompanied by rotli, rice, lassi, papad, etc, everything you would expect and more. The taste was as expected, traditional and full of nostalgic memories of my childhood with every mouthful, the flavours brought memories flooding back from my younger years, generally it is rare I get to eat food like this, being the age I am most of the older generation in my family that could cook like this have now passed. The food was presented in a traditional manner, in steel plates, service was prompt, however it wasn't overly busy, I can imagine on a busy day the service isn't as prompt, however well worth the wait. All the food tasted fresh, like it was just freshly cooked off the stove. This is perfection on a plate. I was really humbled by this place and the hospitality, I was made to feel really welcome even though I was a lone dinner, I actually didn't feel alone for one minute. This experience felt like a home away from home dining experience. Excellent food, highly recommended. I will return soon, with more cash to try more items off the menu, I can't wait.

Delicious Indian food.. courteous staff. Felt like home away from home. The owner took special care and took effort to make the diners understand the menu. It felt like we were eating at the dining table of our own home. Simple, humble, honest food the taste of which speaks of itself.
