Had a great dining experience at Madras Cafe Restaurant. I tried the prawn fry, mutton soup, and crab gravy—everything was so tasty and full of flavour. Authentic South Indian taste! Special thanks to Harshita, who recommended the dishes. She was very friendly and provided excellent service. Her suggestions were spot on. Highly recommend this place for seafood lovers and anyone looking for good food with great service.

Review for The Madras Lounge, Wembley I recently had dinner at The Madras Lounge in Wembley, and it was truly one of the best South Indian meals I’ve enjoyed in London in a long time. I ordered Parota with Madras chicken curry, and the flavors were absolutely authentic — just like back home. • The chicken in the gravy was perfectly cooked, soft, and full of flavor. • The Parota was beautifully flaky, exactly the way it’s made in South India, which is rare to find in London. • Having tried a few Madurai-inspired restaurants in East Ham before, I can confidently say this meal stood out for its authenticity and taste. The service was also excellent — Sreeja was quick and attentive, making sure everything arrived promptly, and the bar counter staff were equally observant and helpful. Overall, The Madras Lounge delivered a wonderful dining experience with authentic South Indian flavors and great hospitality. I’ll definitely be coming back and recommending it to friends

Every time I cross the street to go down to Wembley high street, I get caught off guard by the most inviting aroma- the smell of biriyani drifting through the air, so today I went to try it! The chicken biryani combo platter and few vegetarian dishes. The paneer Manchurian was one of the best I’ve had - salty, sweet and sticky, not too dry or too saucy. The biryani was delicious, good portion size with enough meat. We had Vegetarian Virunthu, Ghee roast dosa and Set dosas! The Set Dosas was a bit dry other than that I highly recommend this restaurant for its service and delicious food!! We weren’t happy with the seating area, we felt squashed and there wasn’t enough space for high chair or put our plates.

Came here after seeing the good reviews. Not too far from Wembley Central tube station, just a minute or so walk at the most. The ambience itself is nice - clean, well lit, nicely decorated. The waitress who served us was also very polite and friendly. We ordered a mix of items - butter naan, kothu parotta, chicken vindaloo and parotta. The food itself tasted nice, was served in under 10-15 minutes so it was surprisingly very quick. The next day we had the worst food poisoning ever for a few days and know for sure it was from the food here as we did not have food from anywhere else. Could have been a one off incident but it has put us off from visiting again or recommending to friends and family. Again could have been a one off incident who knows, it did taste nice when we ate it although don't know if any of the ingredients went bad beforehand, something was clearly the issue.

Probably one of the finest restaurants with authentic South Indian food. The service and hospitality was great with friendly staff. I would highly recommend mutton chukka, and idli with chicken curry. Its definitely a delight for South Indian taste buds ..

Amazing place to be.. Its a new restaurant so please do come here for amazing food especially the South Indian style chicken and mutton curries. And it really feels back like home with the ambiance, the entry to the lounge. And especially so good staff, they help you out on recommendations of food and are truly amazing.
