    AVOID AVOID AVOID. I do appreciate we all have bad days, it’s a part of being human. However, I have never been treated so badly as I did tonight. I thought I would try something new, so gave china garden a go. Now, for some context……I always treat people how I would like to be treated. I say please and thank you and try and treat everyone with decency. When attending tonight, the lady behind the counter just didn’t want to be there. Every question I asked was met with a sigh or a roll of the eyes. I then asked if she could recommend anything similar to what I asked, again, I was met with a sigh, roll of the eyes and a raise of the voice for good measure. There’s a reason why this place is always empty, yet sea breeze around the corner is so busy. When I went sea breeze (still in genuine shock) I was met with laughs as they’re famous for their awful customer service. I’ll leave you with this……always speak to people with kindness as you just don’t know what kind of days they’re having.

    We got a meal from here last night - salt and pepper chicken and chips were so crispy and well cooked, spicy and full of flavor. Food was fresh and arrived hot. We used to go to a different Chinese in Chester but me and my partner have agreed this will be our new regular Chinese.

    Ordered two plain chicken chow mains, food was quick to collect, but when i got home the noodles had a chemical smell and left a burning sensation in your mouth. These noodles were for me and my little girl who had eaten some before i dished some up for myself. I called the restaurant to ask how they were cooked and was told the ingredients and there was nothing to explain the buring sensation which i found concerning. I think they forgot to rinse the wak before cooking and still had cleaning chemicals on it or something as the smell and taste was really strong

    Chicken portions are huuuuge! Both chicken curry and sweet chili chicken, noodles and chips were tasty and even though it was take away, food was boiling hot when we arrive home. The lady in the front desk was very friendly. Thank you!

    Food was great, but did get the order wrong though, ordered roast duck with green pepper and black bean sauce, got some mushroom dish, too far to return, will check order before leaving next time, dont know if/ what the price difference is?!

    This is under new management. The food is absolutely disgusting, greasey and tasteless. The previous owner had such a great menu with amazing food. I definitely won't be back here again.
