   Unfortunately I had a very bad experience. After eating here, I became seriously unwell with what appears to be food poisoning. I was up all night with severe stomach pain and vomiting, and I was unable to go to work for two days as a result. This isn’t something I take lightly. Food safety is extremely important, and this experience has completely put me off returning. I hope the management takes this seriously and reviews their food handling and hygiene practices to prevent this from happening to others.

   I had a great experience at this restaurant. The food was delicious and fresh, and the portions were just right. The staff was friendly and made sure we had everything we needed. The place was clean and had a nice atmosphere. I would definitely come back again!

   This was my first experience with Somali cuisine, and my friends suggested we visit Food Palace. Upon arrival, we were greeted and seated by the friendly staff. However, the cleanliness was not that good, and the presence of only male diners made it feel less family-friendly. We ordered two lamb shanks and a lamb shoulder, accompanied by rice and spaghetti. The meat was incredibly tender, and the seasoning was perfect. I would have liked a bit more fried onion and a spicier chili sauce. Overall, I would definitely recommend dining here.

   Best Somali food in London!! The flavours and quality of food here are second to none. You have to by pass the exterior but once you do the food is nothing I’ve tasted before. Best lamb shank and beef steak I’ve tasted.

   Worst service and even worse food especially when they keep you waiting for 40 mins for a lamb shank and it was chewy like eating rubber since it was rushed and not properly cooked. I was charged £18 (£13 lamb shank + £5 spaghetti). This went all down the drain. You can go Banaadari in shepherds bush, lamb shank is £8 with rice. I am a regular customer and I have come on here to let you know from now on this place is simply not worth it. The way they run the place is a joke with no regard for hygiene.

   Didn't realise this place was a circus because I couldn't see the clowns from outside. Joke of an establishment, I really don't know how this place is open. I'm certain if someone from the food standards agency came past here on their day off they would claim overtime so that they could score a 0 because you cannot ignore how these guys run this place. Would give a no stars if that was an option.
