   Waited over 45 mins for a simple steak wrap. The wrap was delicious in the end, but you can't be serving people at that pace and also not warning them that they'll have to wait. Big shame.

   Dropped into BoxPark for a pre-show bite. This particular Sunday evening, no stress getting seated in the main communal seating area… Chose Ipanema after a walk about looking at the various offerings. Ipanema had a quick ordering counter service for an X-Burger and fries and a Brazilian style Guarana soft drink. Wait for food was about 15 minutes. Fries were well cooked but really bland, could really do with some seasoning, if not a Brazilian inspired dry herb/spice seasoning, just salt and pepper!? The burger was juicy but again needed seasoning. The chipstick “strawfries” inside were different but didn’t really add anything. The black bun brought visual interest, but was bone dry and crunchy in places. More roasted than lightly toasted? As a whole, it’s just not a quality product for the £10 asking price. I have had amazing Brazilian barbecue and burgers before… this isn’t it… There is a lot of competition in this BoxPark…if I return I’ll be trying something else…

   The food was great, I had a halloumi skewer meal and the sauces were a real highlight! Boxpark on a Tuesday evening is a bit noisy and crowded because of the weekly quiz, but the service from this food vendor specifically was great. Decent portion size for the price, and they offer student discount! Will definitely be coming back!

   We went to Ipanema restaurant on a Thursday and had such a nice dinner. We had a cocktail each which lasted us our whole meal (great portion for the price). We also had 2 starters which were extremely tasty and amazing value for money. The mains were also very tasty and very good value for money. Definitely ask for the green parsley sauce (not sure what it’s called but it was soooo good!)

   The food and the service at Ipanema is 5 stars. The lady the served us was so helpful, I was struggling to decide what to order and she recommended the chicken thigh skewers as she said they were her favourite. I’m very glad I chose them as not only did they taste amazing, they were such good value for money. My partner chose the wrap which was also delicious, and I got skin on fries and black beans as a side. We will definitely be returning here next time we come to Boxpark!

   Steak wrap, really not tasty. Tasted like nothing. Bland steak with a few cassava chips inside and salad. Maybe I just don’t like Brazilian food. Won’t be ordering again. However, lady on front of house was nice and friendly.

   It was awful. They sent me a mixed for one but it was like Dog food nor for people. Its packed was disgusting. It was very dirty. It has a lot of problems. I have taken it to complain about this restaurant. Really I wasted my money. Shame on you.

   I've tried quite a lot of the vendors at BoxPark now and I've been eyeing up the guys at Ipanema Barbecue for some time and let me tell you, they didn't disappoint! For the reasonable price of £13.50, I grabbed three skewers (picanha steak, chicken thighs and halloumi), skin on fries and garlic bread and I was well and truly stuffed. The taste was superb, the fat on the steak was so juicy and not too chewy, the chicken thighs were incredibly succulent and the halloumi was soft, charred and so tasty. I'll definitely be trying the king prawns when I go again.
