I had lunch and desert, the food its fresh , well professional cooked and the desert was yammii yammiii ;)) . Staff very polite and helpful , I do recommend from all my heart . God bless everyone there !
Bella Restaurant & Coffee is a hidden gem in Edgware! Delicious Romanian food (the sarmale are a must), generous portions, friendly staff, and great prices. A real taste of home in London!
It’s my first time here, I had Sarmale and Mămăligă, which makes reminds my hometown mum made food. The lady who served me was so kind and warm, with a romantic Romanian music, I felt very warm.
I visited Bella in Burnt Oak today with the intention of enjoying some dessert. Unfortunately, my experience was far from satisfactory. I ordered a slice of chocolate cake and a cream cake, but neither was labeled, so I am unsure of their exact names. Both cakes tasted as if they had been sitting out for quite some time. The texture was unpleasantly soggy, almost as if water had seeped into them, and they had a sour taste that was very off-putting. This made for a very nasty dining experience, and I could not finish my food. I reported this issue to the staff, but they insisted that the cakes were fine. Given my experience today, I find that hard to believe. I left my food there and walked out very dissatisfied. Overall, my visit to Bella was highly disappointing, and I do not plan on returning. The quality of the desserts needs significant improvement. Update: **This is to respond to the Owner’s Response ** Thank you for your response. However, I must express my disappointment with both the quality of the desserts and the dismissive nature of your reply. I understand that the desserts are not made in-house, but as a customer, I expect the food served at your establishment to meet a certain standard, regardless of its source. Your response suggests that my feedback is unreasonable, which is quite disheartening. The cakes I received were stale and had a sour taste, which is not acceptable. Moreover, when I tried to address this issue with your staff, I faced significant communication barriers due to their poor English skills. Customer feedback should be taken seriously and used as an opportunity to improve. Instead, your reply came across as defensive and dismissive. I had hoped for a more professional and constructive response. I appreciate your suggestion to try the homemade "papanasi," but given this experience, I am reluctant to return. I hope you will take this feedback into consideration to enhance the quality and customer service at your restaurant.
3 stars max - why? Price & food guality - one star down. Value for money does not exist. Super greasy chicken legs not to mention the fatty potatoes. Food hygiene / handling another star down. Atmosphere & deco good. Location convenient - only short walk from tube station. Service backdated - min 4 dacades. Plenty seats is a plus. Would I give another go in a near future? I very much doubt I would.
I gave u 5 stars cause usually the food is good, but today I’ve ordered meatballs soup and the meatballs are missing. Usually it comes with 3,4 meatballs but today I think it was leftovers cause they are just crushed meatballs and if you put them together you can’t do more than 1. The salads are very good and tasty but the soup is disappointing. I think the owner that is responding to this reviews should pay more attention to the customer needs and try to improve himself as a restaurant instead of blaming his customers for 1 star review. I repeat usually the food is great and I hope today was just a mistake. Respect from a regular Uber costumer.
Food that tastes real ! I love exploring new cuisines and came across this gem. The management was kind enough to make me a portion consisting a variety of items. I really loved everything. The chicken with cream of mushroom was so tender, the pork & sausage strew had so much texture to it, the cabbage and meat rolls were so fresh and soft. I was loving the food so much that the management made me try small portions of the soups mainly, sour chicken soup, tripe soup, beef soup and vegetable soup. They were all yummy and the ingredients tasted so fresh. I was even made to try the cheese doughnut with cranberry sauce , which also was amazing. I will be visiting often.
