Really enjoyed our last second lunch today! Everyone was so welcoming and attentive! The stone house beef stack was incredible and most definitely hit the spot! Would definitely come again

Visited today last minute for Sunday lunch, was very busy and a great atmosphere. Staff all lovely especially Lynsey who served us and the man serving the meat he was really funny in a good way! We got our carvery plenty of choice there we had turkey, gammon and beef all cooked perfectly. It was super tasty and all 3 of us enjoyed every last bit of our meal. Thanks again will definitely be back :)

Don’t expect Michelin star restaurant fine dining. It’s the usual carvery style place that also serves up stone baked pizzas as well as the usual stuff like chicken, mac & cheese and burgers etc. It’s the first place that I’ve been to, in a while, where all the staff seem relatively happy at their work (whether that’s the case or not, is still a credit to them) and all communicating with each other and having good banter between themselves and also the customers. Nothing over the top just friendly and funny. I received my main before my starter, which happened to get sent to another table by mistake. The waiter said they would go make it again, for me. I said ok, no worries. The tall’ish chef guy doing the carvery then came over and apologised and insisted that in way of apology, I have a drink or something on the house, I said it was fine but he said “I’ll get you another Stella”, which I didn’t refuse and which was much appreciated. Loads of deals to be had whether you order from the set menu or the full menu and registering an account also gets you discount codes and redeemable reward stamps and stuff like that. Like I say, value for money if you know what to expect. Also has a pool table right around past the bar. Cheers

Beautiful food, quick service, as soon as starters were finished plates were cleared and main was ready and served a few minutes later, all staff were happy and cheerful even for coming to end of shifts! Made me and my partner smile hearing a chef happily singing along to the radio clearly enjoying himself and passionate about the food being served being genuinely good, checking in with us about taste. Only popped in on the way past and so glad we did!

Amazing pub! As a manager of a different pub I was massively impressed with the service, food and price. They have lots of very good offers running throughout the week which was very impressive. The staff are very enthusiastic and are proud of their work so it’s lovely to see

Me and my girlfriend stop In around 4pm on a Friday. The place was dead which is fair enough but the abundance of staff looked fed up to be serving and were more interested in making a stack of napkins in to bongos at the bar which was abit annoying. The food took ages and all it was ,was chips and a chicken burger. The chips were what you expect but the chicken was dry with an unpleasant aftertaste, a couple of bites and we were done. Good points were decent parking and the loos were clean. I know it's cheap but it was still below par for the price.

Very clean and tidy. All the staff were friendly and helpful. The pub is quite a big place with a play area for children and a pool table for the older children! Food was very nice and cooked from fresh. Prices were very good aswell. We all had a fabulous time.

Stopped in for a bit to eat after a trip to Chester Zoo and had a good time. Staff were very friendly and food was at the better end what you'd expect for a chain pub. Prices were reasonable but sadly they had no draft ales on. Would recommend for a solid meal
