I ended up paying £17 for a plate that was listed as £16 on the menu, all because I used card payment. Not to mention the tiny portion I received... and really? You have someone at the till who doesn't speak English? Attached is the menu showing what I wanted to order, along with the actual takeaway I got. The real size and the minion size. A lamb shank the size of a chicken drumstick.. I didn’t even know lamb could be that small. Does this even deserve a single star? Based on the lame excuse from the girl acting as the waiter (the only one who spoke English there), I was told that since it was a takeaway, it was supposed to be small enough to fit in their tiny box....what a stupid thing to say.. . and what about the price? Why was I charged more just because I didn't pay in cash? She arrogantly claimed it was their fault for not updating the menu prices... but if it s YOUR fault, why should I pay more, love?. so if you go to supermaket and see something for £2, it might be £2 for cash and £3 for card? if you use a card, it suddenly becomes £3 ? Nooo.. definitely NO... this is wrong . Anyway, I feel scammed. The issue is that all the positive reviews are likely posted by them, so naive people like me end up getting tricked. After I took a picture of the bag for you, I threw the food to the neighbor's dog, hoping he wouldn't get food poisoning, considering how the menu paper looked like.

Absolutely amazing Somali food, the best I’ve had in a while. Unfortunately they didn’t had any lamb shoulder so we ordered 4 meals of the menu which they recommended kindly offered to convert it into a sharing platter. Staff was really friendly and accommodating. The restaurant was spacious so couples, families and friends could dine comfortably unlike most Somali restaurants. Food was very flavourful & would definitely be returning!

My first time at a Somali restaurant and second time having Somali food. Really cute place, good service and generous portions. The date cake is worth an hour drive in traffic to eat wow! Sea bass and whatever sauce that was…..to die for!!! Crispy and juicy and tasty all at the same time. Rice was flavoursome and breads were perfect textures. Unfortunately only going in with a 3 star as no red meat was available, pasta and chicken were quite bland, no onions with rice and I had to request a banana. Unrelated - it was nice to see many staff with learning disabilities welcomed and supported while at work ♥️
