   We visited Lokkanta recently and had such a lovely time. The food was delicious, fresh and full of flavour. The service was outstanding, the staff were warm, welcoming and really looked after us. The whole experience felt special, and the atmosphere was great from start to finish. Overall, excellent Turkish food and fantastic hospitality. We’ll definitely be coming back!

   We have had tavuk shish and yogurtlu adana. Regardless, they served cold meze (cacik, humus, something with hot and one more meze) together with a special bread. They were really good. Shish was fine and served with bulgur rice and salad. But adana was much much better than chicken shish. Price was also fine. Service was great. Would like to have a dinner there again. Highly recommended.

   This restaurant was a hidden gem! The food was so good I completely forgot to take pictures at the start, I’ve been to a lot of Turkish restaurants but this one was full of flavour, cleanliness and perfect hospitality. You won’t feel heavy after eating the food, it’s so fulfilling and cooked really well. Will definitely come again.

   Absolutely delicious meals on reasonable prices considering the aria. Everything we ordered tasted very authentic and in-house made. I would definitely be coming back to try other things from their menu. We ordered the felafel meal and the chicken grill meal, with couple of vegetarian starters. Everything was superb.

   Very nice BBQ meat at fair prices and they don't charge service like it says on the menu, which was a big win. Portions maybe slightly small, if you are sharing might be better to get larger platters (but obviously more expensive). Ezme was also great and I really enjoyed. Turkish lemonade was not limonata be warned. And I was disappointed they don't do pides anymore as I was looking forward to trying them. But overall a nice experience, great meat and responsive and polite waiters.

   Tasty food with good portions, loved the smokey flavours, karisik was great though it's a bit heavy due to butter; fresh complimentary bread, quick and friendly service. Bear in mind bulgur side is only included for standard kebabs, not for yogurt specials. Eat-in menu about 2 pounds more expensive than seen online, which is reasonable with 10% inflation; for a light veggie meal you can get a falafel wrap for only £6.5. Negative reviews are clearly fake, shame on them; this is a solid good value Turkish restaurant, I hope many more customers will dine here.

   Amazing. We ordered the Lokkanta special grill, a bit pricey but the meat- chicken and lamb- were tender and juicy. Serving portion average. Service was good. We did not order the starters but was served after ordering our main meal. Will try the desserts next time.
