Had a takeaway from this establishment on a sat eve. Wait was short and food was delicious.
5 Stars from me, Great food and generous portions! I ordered from Far East in Chester and was really impressed. The food was great quality fresh, hot, and full of flavour. The portions were generous too, definitely good value for money. Everything tasted spot on, from the mains to the sides. I’ll definitely be ordering again. Highly recommend if you’re after a solid Chinese takeaway in the area!
The Food was very bland, very salty. Every dish tasted the same even though the ordered chilli crispy beef, char Sui Szechuan, beef kung po. Rice was like a block of ice. Salt and pepper chips was so salty I spat it out. Chips were fried more than twice at least. Curry sauce was like water. Everything had no flavour whatsoever do ever. Avoid The main meal didn’t even come with chips or rice. We had to purchase separately!!!

Our first time trying this takeaway tonight and it won't be our last! The food was fantastic and worth every penny! The service was great from the friendly staff! We highly recommend this place!....update! This is our go to place for Chinese food now. No where else matches it!
Actually disgusting, ordered beef vermicelli within an hour was vomiting till 5 in the morning every half hour, vomiting that much was starting to vomit blood from stomach lining, had to wait till Tuesday to complain as they close on Monday and they wouldn’t take any responsibility at all, said something “funny” was going on then proceeded to talk bad about me while I was waiting, then said write a bad review I don’t care and put phone down, do not eat here!! Overpriced and get food poisoning!!
Very disappointing food had no taste The Ribs had no meat fryed fat! Spent over £30 not even a back of prawn crackers . When we phoned to complain they weren’t really bothered. And just to top it all I was over charged by £10 .
My partner, our daughter and I moved to Saughall about five years ago and, on a recommendation from my in-laws, tried the Far East. The food was excellent and it became our ‘go to’ Chinese delivery. Sadly, they seemed to have changed chef after a few years, and the food became so salty and badly prepared that it was basically inedible. Tonight, we decided to give it one more try, and we were very pleasantly surprised. The food was actually better than when we first used them, light and well cooked, a good mix of well prepared ingredients and very enjoyable. One of the things I originally liked about the Far East was that they don’t do the ‘rice or chips with every dish’ thing, which seems so common up here (I’m from London), which means you can choose a couple of dishes, choose rice or noodles, and not wind up with a load of leftovers. Their salt and pepper chips are very good btw! Having tried them again tonight, I’m interested to try their new extended menu which has some rather tempting looking seafood options. Also, one of the reasons we ordered from here tonight is that they do banana fritters ( my other half’s favourite) and I’m sure she actually purred at the first mouthful! So, in summary, a very welcome return to form. I’m very pleased that we can definitely recommend the Far East again, and look forward to our next order.
